Dirty unsanitary rooms with old hard uncomfortable beds. Booked online and was mislead by agent and advertising. More a cheap motel than a hotel. Definitely 1 star. Rather pay a bit more and know that you can rest. Pictures attached.

We stayed at the BW 2 weeks ago specifically choosing this hotel because it had a pool as we had kids with us. At first impression the hotel was "okay", it's nothing fancy but it was a place to rest our heads. The biggest complaint was the pool. We stayed Friday - Sunday and on Friday night the pool was being used to conduct swim lessons from the time we arrived at 5pm until after 8pm - when we asked the "instructor" about this he asked us to use just HALF the pool. We had parents watching us as they were there to watch their kids in swim lessons. After attempting to enjoy the use of the pool (which ends up being less than a lane of swimming space where 5 of us could barely use it) we left, and asked the reception if there were anymore swimming lessons that weekend, which he said yes until 130pm on Saturday. We paid a higher than normal amount for this hotel and we couldn't access the full amendies. I have emailed not only the hotel several time with NO response but also customer service and corporate with NO response. I have asked for a partial refund. This was never communicated to any of our guests (we booked two rooms) there was no signage and it seemed very "off" that they were conducting swim lessons in a hotel pool on a busy evening. I can not nor will I ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed for 1 night on our way down to Washington. Upon check in, we asked for restaurant suggestions. We were pointed to the A&W next door and told that was all there was (spoiler alert, we found many, many options on Google but were hoping for local recommendations). The beds were very hard but the rooms were clean. The pool was tiny and we were unable to use it because they were holding swimming lessons there in the evening. The hot tub jets didnt work and the sauna didn't seem to function. The breakfast was minimal - hard boiled eggs, sausage and hash browns and a yogurt machine that was extremely slow and not worth the wait. The one bagel available was rock hard and when i pressed on the outside, it cracked and crumbled. We ate elsewhere. We will never, ever go back. I reached out to express my disappointment and received a seemingly automated email assuring me they were looking into it. That was 2 weeks ago. I guess they've closed the case. A huge disappointment for a high rate.
Had a wonderful stay here. For the most part, the hotel was a great choice with great value. It was kept clean throughout. My room was spotless upon arrival. Every staff member I came across from front desk to cleaning, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were great! Added bonus of a nice sauna. The location was a close, 5-10min drive from White Rock Beach and 15 min to Crescent Beach.
My only complaints.. The breakfast, it had good variety of hot items, freshness was lacking. The hash browns were a soggy mess and the sausage was mediocre, cheap variety type sausage. The pancake machine spit out 1 tiny, toonie sized pancake.
However. There was a good variety of other continential style breakfast items.
All in all, I would stay here again.

Nothing outstanding but a good deal for a night or two with a basic continental style breakfast included in the cost.
