  Nothing wrong with the hotel, its an average best western. The breakfast thats included is insane, meatballs in tomato sauce and veggie spring rolls lol what the hell is that. Just do bacon and eggs like everyone else.

  A must stay at this hotel free hot breakfast to start your day I’ve stayed here in my travels with my wife very clean and well maintained great staff and hospitality 👍🏽

  Nice clean rooms. I like that you can sign into your own streaming service on the tvs. Also has a good breakfast selection in the morning.

  Was going to book a few nights until I heard their prices. Not sure what makes this hotel any more special but wow. Over $200 for the standard room. Ended up getting a really nice room at the Château Nova and would highly recommend it. The Château has decent rates and really nice rooms.

  This hotel has recently changed management and it was very apparent. I travel a lot for work and up until this stay, this hotel had always been a favourite, and one I looked forward to coming to. It quickly dropped to the bottom of my list following this most recent stay. Things were so poor that I actually stopped by the front desk to see if management had changed, and the person behind the front desk confirmed that it had back in January. Clearly the new owners do not seem to want to put the same investment into their clients as the previous owners. I am a diamond select member with Best Western, and stay in a number of hotels annually, and so I’m sharing the reality. The cleanliness of the rooms was ok, but the rest of the hotel was not. I originally checked in here on a Monday, checked out and was at another hotel (in a different Town) on Tuesday and then back here for the Wednesday and Thursday. I had noticed the elevator was quite filthy on Monday, and I was shocked when I arrived on Wednesday to see it had not been cleaned at all - same mess and spills on the floor and the area with the buttons was gross. The previous owners provided a fabulous breakfast, with bags and grab and go items. The breakfast here is now sub par with very minimal selection with absolutely no grab and go items. Tuesday morning, I actually went to Tim Hortons on my way out of town instead. This morning I thought I would try it again, and it was still very low in quality and items available. There was a 3 tier fruit stand and all that was in it was 4 oranges. The yogurt which comes an out of a machine was empty and the selection of anything else was pathetic. When I asked the breakfast attendant if there was any other fruit he simply shook his head and said no - that’s all there is. They used to have a nice 24/7 accessible coffee machine and that too had been removed. TV channels have decreased and tonight I could not even get the TV in the room to turn on. When I called the front desk to see if there was an issue with the cable she told to go behind the TV and unplug the electrical cord wait a few minutes and then plug it back in. I get that things cost more… but clearly the guest experience is not important to the new owners. I may have to rethink where I stay the next time I come into town if this is the future for this hotel. Long and short of my review - if you have stayed here before and loved it, and you haven’t been here since January 2026 be prepared for a very different experience. It really is too bad when greed and money in the owners pockets comes into play and takes away from the reason they are running a hotel. It will also be interesting to hear Best Westerns thoughts on this as they are a brand ambassador for them and this definitely would not be something I would want for my Worldwide Brand.
