For a luxury fashion brand like Chanel, you would expect the staff to maintain at least some grace and decorum.
Really poor service, blatant and brash disrespect to customers — reflects poorly on the brand and had us leave very quickly out of pure shock.
Mr Joao was especially brash. Very disappointing.

Very disappointing experience at the Chanel boutique in Selfridges London.
From the moment we arrived, the lady at the front entrance didn’t smile or offer a polite greeting, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. We asked about the availability of a pair of sunglasses and a bag and were told that someone would assist us shortly.
Unfortunately, after waiting for over 30 minutes, no one came to help us. We eventually decided to leave the store. Before leaving, I informed the lady at the front that we were leaving because we had been waiting so long, but she didn’t even apologise or acknowledge the poor experience. Instead, she shrugged her shoulders.
The level of customer service was extremely disappointing. I would recommend avoiding the Chanel boutique in Selfridges and visiting the Bond Street location instead, where the service is far more professional, attentive and friendly.

Extremely poor service and very unprofessional when compared to many luxury brands.

Juan served me yesterday and she’s so kind, nice and helpful. Will visit soon
Incredibly rude staff. Won't even look in the back for stock. Won't even walk up and introduce themselves after you have been sitting and waiting for 30 minutes. Asked to look at 1 bag and completely glared and started making faces. Not a single person in the store was helpful. Avoid this location and just go to Bond street and any other Chanel store.
