I had a very disappointing experience at Chanel Harrods today.
I asked about the new 26 Small bag that is already featured on Chanel’s official website. Instead of checking the system, one sales associate told me to ask someone else. Two other associates then responded in a dismissive and almost mocking manner, saying they had never heard of the bag and that it had not been released.
When I showed them the official Chanel website, they realized the bag did exist. Instead of apologizing or assisting me, one associate simply walked away. When I questioned whether this was the level of service Chanel expects, the conversation became confrontational rather than professional.
Some sales associates seem to forget they represent the brand, not own it. Confidence is part of luxury service, but arrogance without professionalism is not.
The associate involved identified himself as “Su.” I hope Chanel takes this feedback seriously, because customers deserve respect.
الموظفة عند الباب اخلاق صفر ومعصبة لاتشرون من هالفرع نصيحة
I would like to share my recent experience at the Chanel boutique on the ground floor of Harrods.
Unfortunately, I was assisted by an older sales associate who was not welcoming or helpful. She barely responded to my questions, and whenever I asked to see different handbag styles, she would simply open the drawers in silence without offering any explanation, recommendations, or assistance. Her attitude seemed uninterested and impatient throughout my visit.
As a customer, I expected a much higher level of service from Chanel. Luxury shopping is not only about the products but also about the experience, and sadly this interaction did not reflect the exceptional standards and image that Chanel is known for.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other customers can enjoy the level of service that represents the Chanel brand.
Consistently disappointing service and an awful way to run a store. The Chinese sales assistant on the ground floor has been particularly unpleasant on several occasions, which has made the experience very disgusting. You know you are only a sales person. Show some respect
The sales process overall also feels disorganised, inefficient and frustrating. I would strongly recommend shopping at the boutique directly or at Selfridges instead, where the service is much better.
THE nastiest employees I’ve ever met whilst shopping in luxury departments.
I’ve been a frequent visitor at all Chanel boutiques in Harrods, the only floor you might meet kind and attentive employees is on the ground floor.
The audacity for these ‘sales’ people to raise their voice and roll their eyes for just asking whether they have the item you want in stock, is honestly embarrassing for them. Like do you even want to work in retail? Even if you want to just look around, they will make you wait insane times just to view a store that has nothing good left in stock.
It honestly makes me feel ill just thinking about even giving 3% commission to some of these employees.
Clearly nothing is done about this if you read other reviews. Save your money. Avoid Harrods Chanel at all costs!!!
