  It seemed like the so-called salesperson wasn’t interested in working the day we visited the store. Aziz didn’t appear motivated to help us at all. He simply unlocked the display cases whenever we asked, but made no effort to assist us or provide any product recommendations. Even when we thanked him, he didn’t respond. His attitude was so unwelcoming that every time we had a question or needed his assistance, we felt uncomfortable approaching him. I’ve had friendlier interactions with complete strangers. We expected much better customer service and a more professional, welcoming experience at Sunglass Hut. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing.

  I cannot say enough about how exceptional Tor is at the Sunglass Hut in the Rideau Centre. Hands down the most knowledgeable and helpful person I have ever come across when buying glasses. I had several restrictions on top of a face that does not suit many styles and despite trips to other stores, she managed to find options. She has a gift to look a face and pick out the right, flattering style. She takes time to listen and does not rush. Tor is the manager at the store and her customer service is unparalleled. Selfishly I hope she never leaves. Thank you sooo much Tor!

  I would not recommend anyone visit this Sunglass Hut location. My experience was extremely disappointing. The staff were very unprofessional, unhelpful, and did not provide the level of customer service expected from a well-known brand. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant, and I felt that customers were not being treated with respect. This store needs serious improvement in customer service and staff attitude. To anyone considering visiting this location, I would suggest going somewhere else or shopping online instead. I will not be returning.

  Absolutely the worst Sunglass Hut location I have ever visited. The customer service was terrible, and the three employees working during my visit were rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I don't know their names, but the manager should be able to identify who was on shift. The store also had very little inventory, making the visit a complete waste of time. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. To anyone reading this review: I would strongly recommend avoiding this location. Save yourself the frustration and order online instead. Based on my experience, this is the worst Sunglass Hut store I have ever visited. If the store manager or regional management is reading this, please investigate the staff who were working during my visit and take appropriate action. This level of customer service is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the Sunglass Hut brand.
