  I had a very disappointing experience with the return and exchange process at this American Eagle store. I purchased 6–7 items, but the employee didn’t created my account in the system or asked if I wanted my receipt emailed. Later, when I needed to exchange or return an item, they refused because I didn't have the printed receipt. What's even more frustrating is that they didn't have a similar item available, yet they still wouldn't help. Employees should make sure customers' purchases are linked to their accounts and should always offer an email receipt to avoid situations like this. I've been a loyal American Eagle customer and have spent a lot of money there over the years, but this experience was very disappointing. The customer service felt unprofessional, and because of this experience, I don't plan to shop at this store—or at American Eagle again. I hope management improves employee training so other customers don't have the same experience.

  I shopped at the McAllister mall location a few days ago and I had a very odd experience. I walked in and all of the workers including the manager were gathered at the cash talking. Only 1 worker started interacting with me but it seemed flirtatious and made me somewhat uncomfortable. When the manager was checking out my clothes for me she asked for my phone number to see if I had an account but the man who helped me was standing there and looked like he was about to write it down on a sticky note so I gave my friends number instead cause it was awkward and uncomfortable.

  Ordered online to pick up in store here, then when it was ready for pickup the day after said it was picked up. Did the chat thing online and said all they could do was give me a refund couldn’t give me any information about what happened. Very disappointing I have been a long time customer and don’t understand this as now the item is out of stock and I used birthday coupon.

  Expensive jeans for fussy teens. What i love is the return policy. Very generous length of time.
