I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at the Sunglass Hut store in Champlain Mall.
On June 30, 2026, at around 3:30PM, I entered the store intending to purchase a pair of Oakleys and the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, but from the moment I walked in, I was completely ignored.
I waited for more than five minutes while the sales associate greeted and assisted every other customer with a smile, offered recommendations, and answered all of their questions. During that time, I received no acknowledgment—not even a simple “I’ll be with you shortly.”
I asked the associate about the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, but she continued helping other customers as if I wasn’t there. That experience made me feel invisible and deeply disrespected.
Based on the way I was treated compared to everyone else in the store, I left feeling that I was being discriminated against. Whether intentional or not, that is how the interaction made me feel, and no customer should leave a store with that impression.
I came to store ready to purchase premium products, including Oakleys and the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Instead, I walked out without buying anything because of the poor treatment I received. You didn’t just lose a sale—you lost my trust and confidence in your brand.
Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, acknowledged when they enter the store, and given the same level of service regardless of who they are.
I sincerely hope no one else has to experience what I did.
