I have never felt so disrespected, dehumanized, and taken advantage of as I have living in this building.
This is not just bad management. This is a complete lack of humanity. You are not treated like a person here, you are treated like a source of income. The moment they collect your rent, you stop mattering.
Yes, the building itself is a disaster. There have been repeated flooding incidents, constant construction, unreliable elevators, and neglected amenities, all of which make daily life frustrating. But the real problem is the people running it.
There is zero care, zero accountability, and zero respect. No communication, no transparency, just silence while tenants deal with ongoing issues in what is supposed to be their home.
But what truly shows the kind of place this is:
I once forgot my keys inside my apartment, a simple human mistake that can happen to anyone. Instead of helping, the building manager refused to unlock my door unless I first signed a paper agreeing to pay 100 dollars. Only after signing would he take the elevator, if it was even working, and use his fob to open my own door.
Let that sink in!
100 dollars just to be a decent human being and help someone get back into their own home.
That moment tells you everything. This is not management. This is greed without limits and empathy without existence.
And it does not stop there.
At one point, I left my shoes outside my door because they were covered in snow, something completely normal in winter. Without any notice, without knocking, without even informing me, the cleaning staff took them.
They literally took my personal property.
I only found out after the fact and had to email management asking for them to be returned. This is the level of respect tenants are given. Your belongings can be taken without your knowledge, and you are left to chase after them.
The gym is also completely useless. It is poorly maintained, equipment is broken, and half of the dumbbells are missing. It is advertised as an amenity, but in reality it is neglected and barely usable.
To make things worse, tenants in the building came together and created a petition against the rent increases because of all these ongoing issues. Nearly the entire building signed it. Management completely disregarded it like it meant nothing, as if the people living here have no voice at all.
And despite all of this, they still push rent increases. Charging luxury level prices while offering conditions that do not meet basic standards is not just unfair, it is insulting.
The lack of attention and care is everywhere. Problems are ignored, things stay broken, and tenants are left dealing with stress and inconvenience on their own.
Living here does not feel like having a home. It feels like being stuck in a place where you are constantly reminded how little you matter to the people in charge.
If you are considering moving here, do not. You deserve better than this.
