I enjoyed stay here. Room is clean and they have a brand new lobby. Breakfast was good, and police station is right down the road, so it’s very safe also quiet here. Would stay again.

SAFETY CONCERNS
When me and my family checked in late at night on a road trip, the exterior door to our room (#168) was open. We checked in at 11pm and the door was wide open. I'm a big guy, and it took most of my strength to lean on it to get it to click and latch closed. I get that not everyplace has a huge budget, but basic safety was clearly not a priority.
Other than that, the room was quiet, breakfast was warm, bed was soft.

There are pros and cons, as always. The location isn't bad: near food and other places in downtown. Pro and con: the hotel is older, but they are in the middle of renovations. The new lobby and breakfast area is nearly complete and if they continue the sleek, simplistic, but beautiful design into the rooms, it will be amazing when renovations are done. So, the con was the room: in terms that it is dated: carpet for flooring and dated fixtures. However, upgrades are already beginning: new flat screen and large TVs, Keurig coffee makers. The other upside is that the rooms are a good size. Our 2 queen had space for the beds plus a table and chair. The bathroom was large enough that you don't have to strattle the toilet to close the door. The shower had great pressure, though, even at 5'8", I had bend down to get my hair wet. Overall, a solid hotel that will be over the top great once renovations are completed.
