Had a nice stay on a Saturday night. A decent value for what you get. Especially when you consider pricing in Duluth. Pool area was busy but not unexpected for a Saturday. Breakfast was good. Certainly better then other hotels we have stayed at of similar status. Close enough to hit the local spots both in Superior and Duluth. Parking was good and entry doors around the building made it convenient to get to your room. Definitely budget friendly and would recommend if traveling in the area.

Room was nice, but I don’t stay for the wall decor, I stay for the sleep I’m going to get. And the sleep I received? Horrible. The mattresses you can feel every spring, and they put a thin felt pad on it to reduce the feeling, but it doesn’t work. My wife and I slept maybe 2 hours the night we arrived. We cancelled the rest of our trip to Thunder Bay because we hurt so bad the next morning and were sleep deprived. Will never be back again. My advice: PAY MORE FOR A HOTEL WITH QUALITY BEDDING! Avoid at all costs.

This is our 3rd year staying here and we like it. It’s not fancy but it’s nice, very clean, friendly and has an awesome pool set-up. We love that there’s lots of space around the pool and hot tub area to hang out. Staff were helpful and parking is close to the door and simple. There’s also lots of room to spread out and eat breakfast which is nice.

Jackie checked my family in on Aug 6th. Jackie is amazing, she is excellent in customer service, support and answering all of our questions. When we needed more towels she personally made sure we were able to get them. We were able to get a pool side room! Our room was fantastic, it was cool and didn't smell like pool, which was amazing. The kids swam till 10pm. The carpet was clean, the beds soft and supple, plus the free shampoo is AMAZING I wish I could buy over the counter. Probably the best stay of our vacation. Thank you Jackie, will definitely return. The Anderson Family.
DO NOT stay at this hotel! Went here on a business trip and as soon as I walked into my room it smelled like mold from an abandoned house. To make it worse, there was literally mold growing on the pillow case - both sides. I opened the window and discovered that there was NO SCREEN on a 2nd room floor, talk about potential lawsuit if little Timmy goes and falls out the window. I got my room switched and the next door room was also musty smelling - but they sprayed some febreeze before I walked in to try to mask the smell. Front desk person didn't really believe me when I told them my room was moldy and had to go investigate before they switched me, and didn't apologize for setting me up in a hazardous room. I can't imagine being someone with athsma, someone with little kids, elderly, or a pregnant person having to put up with that mold! My company ended up cancelling entirely and taking the $400 loss just to get us out of there. Also, there's only a view of the bridge if you stay in one of the 5 rooms, and even then it's not much of a view. Plenty of hotels in the area with better service and rooms for $10 more. DO NOT STAY HERE and if you do avoid room 202-204!!!
