  I stayed here once before it was must have been under different owners and it was good this time horrible. They broke the Ada laws which is a felony. I was the first service dog trainer in the United States I know what I'm talking about and I needed my dog with me they told me oh you can stay but you have to stay in the room you can't be out in the lobby when people are checking in because they're allergic some of them to maybe dog hair I said that's totally illegal. I called the police and they said well there's nothing we can do because they own the place I can't blame the police for not knowing the ADA rules but this is just for backup it happened on the 18th of August couple days ago I'm still taking back by it it's the last thing I needed. So they committed a felony and I went to the igh hotel in Rice lake they had no problem they were completely full of the man next to me said you take my room you have a nice dog you can see his well behaved and I'm sure you need the rest I said I do but it's your room he said no I insist the representatives are fine with it and I met some very fine people so I would highly recommend this hotel very much so very very much so. Their professional and the rooms were great as was the staff.

  Correct spelling of my last name is f o r s t e r. I've gone here before had no trouble with my service dog I was the first service dog trainer for disorders that can't be seen. I know the laws. I was told I could not be seated in the area where people check in because they might be allergic to dogs so I could go out the other doors seriously. They came up with the argument of well some people are allergic I said that doesn't count. I want a great amount of pain and my disability right now and I made a reservation and now you're putting restrictions on this I told you I had a service dog I even told them to look me up on the web. They did nothing about it. It was not in my budget to go to the igh at the other place in Rice lake I wanted to stay in a nice place with my service dog and just relax and be able to sit in a lobby anytime like other people. My service dog when Robert Redford was alive we both we're invited to a private gala they were movie stars nobody even knew I had a service dog until we got up because that's the way they should behave. Once I sat next to a pilot who was trying to catch another flight and he said I'm allergic to dogs but don't worry he said yours is low enough on the ground it's such a good dog. When I started working him he got pilot wings from another airport because dogs are barking at him and he just stood there by my side and did nothing just like I taught him. The other dog was just about ready to break the leash I should just sit and he did. The attendant and the pilot saw that and they came over the attendance and said would you like to come with me I said what did I do wrong she said nothing you did everything right and so did your dog we just want to get you in the plane where it's quiet you don't have to put up with that and the other dogs not getting on. The pilot gave me pilot wings and said could I have the pleasure of painting this on his vest or would you like to I said go ahead thank you he's it's only given out to pilots and flight attendants but in this case your dog. Every dog behave this well we wouldn't have this problem. Dapper and I really needed a vacation things have been a little roughly they just say the least we're both getting older and I wanted it so bad plus it's in a good location where I can shop and then if the pain gets too bad I can stay in a room but not that kind of restrictiveness is intimidating and insulting. When I called him back oh no we never said that they said it twice and they hung up on me. I even called the police and they said well it's their property so it's their right which I don't blame the police but it's at least marked and they don't know the Ada laws I do. It's true I train dogs because I understand people with disabilities my father was a dog trainer I've been training since I was a kid. I went to the other IGA hotel which I'm giving a five-star review and also wonderful man with compassion gave up a room the last one for me.

  We were blest to be in a clean and well run hotel. And the breakfast buffet was wonderful. I highly recommend it 👌

  We are staying in the larger 2 queen bed room. A large room for 3 people. Its extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. We will definitely stay here the next time we come up to Rice lake. The breakfast was really good. All the stuff I like.

  They charged my husband for 3 nights instead of 2. He was there for work in the area and gave them the proper 24 hour notice that he was checking out early. He even has a receipt saying they refunded him for one night, but they didn't. Crooked. Can't be trusted. Shady. I dont recommend. English skills are very sub par as well. Police report has been filed. Also filed a complaint with th BBB. Better watch your receipts when you stay here. A report has also been filed with corporate! THIEVES! Just disgusting.
