  Staff are awesome here postive vibes.Parking lot does not handle big trucks(semi). If you are there early you might make it through parking lot to park.

  This past weekend my girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. While it wasn’t a long stay, it was for our anniversary. I spent time looking for a hotel specifically with a pool and hot tub within the area of where we were spending our weekend. To my surprise there was no warning or mention of them being closed. Though it isn’t them at big of deal it still would have been nice to know beforehand. Our room was not bad but the shower was not cleaned well and was very dirty + an excessive water got all over the floor due to the way it was designed. The ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work and the elevators at this location were extremely slow even for it just being 3 levels, the elevator also carried a strong smell of marijuana. Just a disappointment overall.

  Worst hotel experience ever! Woken up at 2am fire alarm going off. Called front desk twice, no answer, Got outside, hotel was surrounded by police with guns drawn. A drunken unruly guest was going crazy and pulled the fire alarm. Many guests said he was a problem earlier that evening but hotel staff DID NOTHING until it escalated into a tactical situation. It appeared like this hotel is also housing homeless, we saw several people loitering around all day in the lobby and parking lot. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

  While the room itself was comfortable, we were extremely disappointed with our overall experience and the level of service provided during our five night stay. Our biggest issue began before we even arrived. At no point during my online reservation was I informed that the pool and hot tub were out of order. I even called the hotel before our arrival to add an additional night to our stay, and this still was not mentioned. We were only informed when we arrived. We were told at check in that a refund could be provided if we didn’t want to stay. However, by that point we had already completed a long trip with our children, they were ready to settle in, and we were now faced with trying to find another hotel that same evening for nearly an entire week. Offering a refund only after we arrived does not make up for failing to disclose that major advertised amenities were unavailable beforehand\. Had we been informed when booking, or even during my phone call, I could have made an informed decision and booked somewhere else. Then after our first night, we learned that the hotel apparently does not provide normal housekeeping service for extended stays. This was another important detail that was never communicated beforehand. During our five night stay, no one came to service our room, replace our towels, change our bedding, or even check whether we needed anything. We ended up changing our own sheets. Normally, something like changing our own sheets wouldn’t be a major issue. However, considering the price we paid for this hotel, it became another example of receiving significantly less than what we expected for the cost of our stay. We paid a higher hotel price than elsewhere, the pool and hot tub were unavailable without any advance notice, and we received essentially no housekeeping service during a five night stay. To make matters worse, we specifically chose a non smoking room, yet when we stepped off the elevator onto our floor we were greeted by an extremely strong smell of marijuana. I travel for work and send employees to this area for training. Based on this experience, I will not book my employees at this hotel in the future. The combination of the price, lack of communication, unavailable advertised amenities, and extremely limited service made this one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. I would strongly encourage hotel management and Best Western corporate to review how this property communicates unavailable amenities and extended stay housekeeping policies to guests before they arrive. Customers deserve the opportunity to know exactly what they are paying for before committing to a stay, not after they’ve already arrived with their family and have very few realistic alternatives. The room itself was comfortable, but unfortunately the overall experience did not come close to justifying the price we paid.

  Honest people!! We sat with our belongings in the lobby and waited for a storm to pass before we hit the road. Ten or 15 minutes after we left, the front desk phoned and asked if I had a tan purse and that I had left it behind. Thank God for her honesty. Otherwise, I would have been in an alarmed panic at some point. My purse contained a few hundred dollars and bank and credit cards. Plus all my personal information and a blank check! You can read through all the obvious pros and cons in other reviews. . .Yes, the lobby windows are very dirty but the bathrooms are very clean. The eating area cabinets are shabby but the biscuits and gravy actually had bits of tasty meat. There are little things needing mild repair but the bed was comfy and we slept well. I could pick apart all the faults in this closer-to-budget status hotel but some qualities go beyond a rating or review. The honesty of the staff wins me over 100% because you can't buy honesty. I am 200% grateful that we chose the Waukesha BW for our stay. And please convey our gratitude to the dark haired young lady that checked us out and called to report my purse was left behind. She should be very proud of herself that she chose to rise above an obvious opportunity to take advantage of a situation. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
