  Hotel jsme brali kvůli poloze a ceně. Dcera zde nastupovala na univerzitu, tak jsme věděli, že potřebujeme jen něco na přespání, že hotel jinak využívat nebudeme. Tento byl relativně blízko jejího domu. Kladně hodnotíme parkování zdarma, na recepci káva zdarma. Pokoje starší, ale na přespání v pohodě. Jen koupelna bylo pořád vlhká, všude voda, úklidová služba vůbec za 4 noci- 5 dní nedošla. Musela jsem jít na recepci poprosit alespoň o čisté ručníky. Pochopila jsem, že vůbec nefunguje denní úklid, vynášení koše na pokoji atd. Ale jinak dostačující, je tam vše, co člověk potřebuje k přespaní. Hned u pláže, bazén taky super. Snídaně opět proti Evropě mini výběr, žádná zelenina, takže v podstatě jíte 5 dní každý den to stejné. Ale je to asi problém všude v Americe oproti Evropě.

  I checked into this hotel and ended up leaving after only about 3–4 hours because I did not feel comfortable staying overnight. Shortly after arriving, I noticed visible dirt, grime and residue on the floors. I used disinfectant wipes to clean several areas myself and was honestly shocked by how dirty the wipes were afterward. I later found hair that was not mine throughout the bathroom floor, along with stains on the makeup remover provided in the room. The overall cleanliness was poor enough that I did not feel comfortable taking my shoes off. The television also did not work, even after I replaced the batteries in the remote. I had reserved an ocean-view room, but after arriving I was moved to another room because I was traveling with my dog, so I did not receive the room/view I had booked. I do want to say that the front desk staff I interacted with were kind and courteous. My issue was not with the customer service—it was with the condition of the room and the facility itself. Ultimately, I chose to check out rather than stay the night. I was told I would still be charged for one night because the reservation was non-refundable, and I have since contacted Best Western Customer Care to request a full refund given the circumstances. Unfortunately, this was not a property I felt comfortable staying in, particularly when it came to basic cleanliness.

  My son is in the military so this place is always convenient and the only place I will stay when I come. I am a beach bum so I absolutely love this location. The staff is awesome, They always have a smile on their face. The ladies and breakfast are awesome It’s good to come back and see the same people. This time I got a room with a balcony normally I get the room with the kitchen on the other side. Both rooms are nice spacious and clean, I think I’m going to get the balcony room for now on especially if I’m traveling alone and don’t have to cook. The view is amazing!!! Always a good experience when i am in norfolk.

  I felt scammed paying full price a motel in a sketchy neighborhood and very unclean, I had to go to Hilton near the airport and ask for a refund, I wasn't going to sleep there for sure after being in the room and seeing bugs after a few minutes and the dirty bed, don't go there it's not a good place

  If I could give 0 star I would. You paid high price for ocean front room during holiday week but the service was so poor especially from some front desk ladies and the rude manager. They rather lost customers than accommodating them or helping them with issues. I should have chosen Hilton brand, Holiday inn or other hotels with same price point but better customer service. Be warned, like other reviews said there’s insects in the room, ants were all over the place in our room even on the bed. My husband went to urgent care due to ear issue, it turned out the ant had gone into his ear. The room appeared clean but felt sticky. I will never return to this location and wouldn’t recommend anyone.
