  This is by far one of the better hotels in the san Antonio area. The staff is friendly and kind and very knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area. The rooms are very clean and tidy. They have one of the better breakfast with eggs sausage bacon and ham depending on the day. Thank you

  I stayed there Friday through Sunday to attend a collect a Con. I chose the hotel for the location distance to the Con and very happy to find the hotel was very close to the San Antonio Riverwalk and the Alamo. The is very clean with comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I’d be happy to stay at Best Western Plus Roland Inn & Suites again in the future.

  Water pressure is non existent stayed multiple night had card issues and they never cleaned the rooms or brought new towels

  It was nearly 100 degrees every day, yet there was no water or hydration drinks for purchase in the lobby bar. Only soda. The room was damp. The bathroom floor was dirty. The toilet handle was difficult to flush. There was a cluster of hair inside one of the pillowcases. I wasn't feeling well so I called the desk to see if I could get late checkout. They said the best they can offer is 1130am. Checkout is 11am so I said don't worry about it. I'll just check out at 11am. 30 minutes is not going to make any difference. 10 minutes later, at about 9am, housekeeping does their first knock and enter. And they proceeded to keep doing them every 30 minutes until 11am when I checked out. I felt harassed. I've never experienced anything like it. I gave my email when I checked in so I could receive the receipt via email. Instead, the front desk used my email to sign me up for Best Western rewards. Following this stay, I will never stay at another Best Western so I certainly don't need the rewards. I also have to mention this was a corporate stay. I travel a few times a month for work and I've never had such a terrible experience. I plan to notify corporate travel to suggest they remove this location. I'd be embarrassed for any of my colleagues or clients to have a similar experience.

  I would not recommend staying here to anyone. Check in time is 3pm. Walked in the door at 2:50 ish and was told by the rude front desk lady that our rooms were not ready. To come back in 45 minutes to a hour. When we returned after the hr wait. The room was ready. The room had this weird smell. I said smell like roaches my husband said smells like the carpet was mildewed. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. It look to have shifted.There is a metal plate in the shower that when the water hits it makes a loud noise. The room phone didn’t work. People’s children constantly ran up and down the halls as well as was jumping and screaming bumping the walls. Couldn’t call front desk for assistance due to phone didn’t work. Went front desk to get assistance and no one was there. The bed was super had. Overall the stay was not a pleasant one. Will never stay again. Oh it shows I pick great value for this location. Only chose because it won’t let me skip the question
