  Room smelled musty but I wasn’t going back to front desk t get a different one it also smelled musty there. The person at the front desk wasn’t friendly at all , pretty grumpy actually. Wasn’t able to drink the coffee tasted very weak and like the water they used was really bad needed filtered or something. We tossed it out and got some coffee at the gas station. Not much different than any other low grade motel. Not Best Western quality.

  Thank you to the crew of Best Western in Murdo. We had 4 rooms booked in July and August of 2026. The service was exceptional, Peter Misti and Emmy were great. High praises for Peter for taking care of everything for us, opening up the pool and cleaning it, making sure we were well taken care of for a very early departure next day. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Hard working and so pleasant. Thank you very much for your great hospitality!!!!! Richard and Maria R.

  I expected much better, especially the day before Sturgis when the hotel should have been prepared for a busy crowd. The room itself was clean and comfortable, which is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. When I arrived around 9:00 p.m., the front desk was completely unattended for about 20 minutes. There was no employee in sight, no bell to ring, and at least two other guests were also waiting to check in. Breakfast the next morning was another disappointment. There was essentially no food left, and nothing was being replenished. Knowing it's one of the busiest weekends of the year, the hotel should have planned accordingly. Running out of breakfast before guests have a chance to eat is unacceptable. A clean room is appreciated, but poor staffing and lack of preparation made for a frustrating experience. I wouldn't stay here again during a busy event unless these issues are addressed.

  B.O. I've stayed at many places even this place a couple of times and the rooms stink like B.O. heck I stayed at a 140 year old hotel in Oregon this week also. That didn't wreak like this (modern) hotel. Yes is nice and clean but definitely not staying here anymore.

  The towels and bed sheets appeared to have stains on them. The floor was very dirty. Don't recommend walking with bare feet. The staff was amazingly pleasant and friendly. But for the price, the rooms are for sure not worth it.
