  We have stayed at this location on the way to HHI since I was a kid and now I'm staying here with my kids! No frills hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are not the most updated but they're clean and comfy. Nice outdoor pool and surrounding patio. Their free breakfast in the morning is always good, as is the service. And they recently added a little gift shop/store with some cute stuff.

  We found our room to be very clean and tidy. The pool was exceptional. There us a free breakfast which was very good. The staff was very professional and friendly.

  One of the best places I have found to stay with my pets. Rooms are clean and the pet friendly rooms I have stayed in all have easily cleanable plank flooring. Doors open directly outside with parking right outside your door. A grassed dog walking area is just across the parking area. And best yet, the rooms are towards the back of the property away from the main road so there is little traffic. This section appears to be dedicated pet owners and no one gets upset for just a woof or two. Definitely unlike other ‘pet friendly hotels where a few woofs gets a call from management and a threat to throw you out. Though, I do admit that a woof from my Corgi is LOUD. Especially liked that the dining room is left open and at 4:30 (when the dogs woke me for a morning walk) I was able to get a cup of tea with real milk and a toasted bagel. We have stayed here 4 or 5 times now. It’s my first choice on our trips up north from Florida.

  **5/5 – Excellent overnight stop with everything that matters** We stayed at the Best Western Plus Santee Inn and had a great experience. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a real highlight—plenty of hot and cold options to start the day right. The beds were clean and comfortable, so we slept well. The property is in a safe area, and being able to park right in front of the room made loading and unloading effortless. The heated outdoor pool was a nice bonus after a long drive. Convenient location just off I-95, solid value, and a stress-free stay. We would happily return.

  Well done. Been traveling sine 2am Tuesday morning from Colorado to help my aunt move. Stayed at a few hotels along the way. They were absolute garbage. Was skeptical because of them. When I got here, Kimberly was at the front desk and was all smiles and laughter. She was an absolute treasure. Got 2 rooms. One for me and one for my dad and my aunt. We were exhausted after literally loading a U-haul trailer in North Carolina, and driving for hours. The rooms were clean, nice and cold, and the beds were super comfortable. This is also the opinion of my dad and aunt. When we woke up, the breakfast served, was a real breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, potatoes, grits....the list goes on and it was hot and fresh. Well worth the stop. If I could give 10 stars, I would.
