We often stay at Best Western hotels around the US, and this is one of the best of the Bests. Reliable reservation system, very helpful staff (front desk and cleaning), clean and well-equipped rooms, views of the Pacific ocean and the beach yards away from the property. Another plus is its Seaglass Restaurant offering good food and generous portions breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is a great vacation spot!

We had an animal access room. The room had a bad dog odor. The rugs need cleaning badly. We paid for ocean view but the catch is there is a quarter of a mile of sandy dunes before you can even see the ocean. Not worth the extra money for an "ocean" view. Staff was nice and hotel was clean except the carpet in our room.
So the rooms are okay, no outdoor porch besides the public outside one. Restaurant is very overpriced for what you get. Husband ordered Chippino ($44.00) and got less than half a crab (mostly empty), two shrimp, two scallops and the rest were muscles. They also call it pet friendly, yet cannot leave the dogs in room for if they bark at people yelling in hallway you get a phone call to get to your room. The bedding was very cold and had to keep heat on. You must also cross the road to get to the beach. Honestly it’s overpriced for what you get. Will not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

5th generation Oregonian here. I have stayed at hotels all up and down the Oregon Coast for my entire life. By far, this was THE BEST hotel experience I've had. Wonderful, warm and helpful staff. Clean, aesthetically pleasing and up to date technology in every room and the building. Outstanding, made from scratch dining. Excellent conference hosting team and facility. And a view worth a million dollars. I WILL be back for both business and pleasure!

It wasnt the best, first I made and paid for a reservation online that stated there was free breakfast. I show up to check in and they informed there was no breakfast, the pool closes for kids at 9pm and Leslie, was extremely rude and hostile. Everything i asked she had a problem and when I said I would need to rebook and use a prepaid reservation as I didnt have the credit card physically with me, she then gave us a free breakfast voucher, and then immediately tried to take away our free breakfast vouchers. We had our 4 exhausted, ocean soaked kids and nobody was in the mood for the drama. We almost left and went to the La Quinta! We got to our room, and not only was there dog hair in the showers and in the sink but also inside the linens in the bed and clear dirt and grime by the door and behind the toilets.... some of the fixtures like small side table hadn't been moved or cleaned under. Location is fantastic, beautiful view. The morning staff were much more pleasant and accommodating.
