We used the go city pass to come here. Not a lot too it but pretty interesting. Crazy how lifelike the people are! Very well designed. Fun to do once, probably won’t go back. They have a bar and treat in different floors with options to upgrade your base ticket, didn’t sound super interesting to me though. Spent maybe an hour there.
A must-visit NYC experience that keeps you coming back for more! đźŽđź“¸đź—˝
This is an incredible experience that anyone visiting New York City should definitely check out at least once. I have already been here twice, and it never gets old. The detail on the wax figures is amazing, and I’m pretty sure they rotate the sculptures throughout the year or swap them with other locations to keep the exhibits fresh and exciting. I would honestly love to know their exact rotation schedule to plan my next visit even better!
Don't forget to stop by the gift shop on your way out, as you can find some very unique and interesting souvenirs there. It is a fun, interactive attraction right in the heart of the city. I am attaching a few photos of my absolute favorite celebrity sculptures from this 2026 visit!
Madame Tussauds was a super fun experience and ended up being the most fun we had during our trip to New York. The wax figures were incredibly realistic, and there were plenty of interactive exhibits and photo opportunities throughout. Out of all the wax museums we visited, this was easily our favorite. A great attraction for couples, families, or anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience in the city.
Awesome with wax statues! 🤩 worst with wax hand experience ❌
It has an awesome collection of wax statues, everyone you see would be an awesome craftsman work with precision. There is no words to describe it. Great for photos and kids. 🌟❤️
Worst experience with “wax hand”.
- Don’t pay at the kiosk at the entrance if you dont know if you want to do a single or double hand. They will charge 5$ for any change of plans. I bought two 18$ single hand. But they still charged me 5$ upgrade price for double hand (actual double hand price is 30$ only 🤷🏻‍♂️, so it was a 11$ waste for my change).
- There is only one person to do it so you need to wait there for hours 1-2hours straight if there are more people ahead. This eat up my time and caused me not to actually cover anything after this. I missed a lot of stuff after this.
- i waster hour i waster not seeing other stuff after this thought the “wax hand” would be awesome but no ❌ it was a disaster not to my expectation. They just put a lot of glitter and it messed up my hand’s details 🤦🏻‍♂️

Madame Tussauds New York offers an enjoyable experience, especially for those who appreciate pop culture, movies, music, and celebrity figures. Conveniently located in Times Square, it is an easy addition to your itinerary.
The wax figures are incredibly detailed and surprisingly lifelike, often prompting double takes. You can take photos with major stars like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Angelina Jolie, as well as iconic personalities such as Marilyn Monroe and historical figures like Albert Einstein. The museum features a great mix of entertainment, sports, politics, and history all in one location.
One of the highlights is the museum's interactivity. It’s not just about admiring the figures; you can pose with them, get creative with your photos, and truly immerse yourself in the experience. Some areas also feature immersive, themed exhibits, making your visit even more dynamic and enjoyable.
This attraction is suitable for all ages, whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or alone. Although it may get crowded during peak hours, the museum is spacious enough to explore comfortably.
Overall, Madame Tussauds NYC is a lively and worthwhile attraction. It’s perfect for capturing unique photos, having fun, and spending a couple of entertaining hours in the heart of the city.
