  Not only is this my favorite place on the Upper East Side to enjoy croissants, but it is also my favorite place in both New York and Paris for what I truly believe are the best croissants in the world! Their macarons are equally exceptional—absolutely delicious and consistently perfect every single time. What makes this location even more special, however, is the incredible customer service. While everyone here is wonderful, the young woman who is most often working at the Madison Avenue location deserves special recognition. She is one of the kindest, most professional, and genuinely gracious people I have encountered in a very long time. She is always warm, welcoming, impeccably polite, and treats every customer with remarkable care and respect. It is truly a pleasure not only to visit Ladurée, but also to interact with her. She represents the very best of what hospitality should be. Establishments as beautiful, iconic, and beloved as Ladurée deserve people like her, and I wish more businesses would follow this example of outstanding service. Thank you for consistently providing such a wonderful experience. This is one of the finest places in New York, and I am genuinely grateful to have it in the neighborhood. Highly recommended! 🥐✨💕

  What a delight! I was surprised with how amazing their iced latte tastes. 10/10 recommend it to go with your sweet treat.

  Very disappointing experience. I visited on May 31, 2026, just before closing, and was told the coffee machine had already been cleaned, which I completely understood. My issue was specifically with two staff members working that evening. They spoke about me in French and laughed, apparently assuming that because I am an Arab woman wearing a hijab, I would not understand them. I understood everything that was said. I want to be clear that this review is only about those two employees, not the rest of the team. Their behavior was rude, unprofessional, and made me feel unwelcome.

  Stumbled on the pastry cafe on Madison Avenue on rainy afternoon. Addi provided a welcome smile so we decided to stay for a light lunch & tarts. Good food and great customer service.
