  First hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have complimentary coffee in the lobby. Only an insufficiently stocked Keurig in the room.

  Awful dismissive staff that do not care that their customers are paying for a room with a secure door and latch. Someone went into our room, stole cash, and the front desk didn’t offer any resolution, not even the bare minimum of listening or writing anything down. No security cameras either. Beware! Besides that, phone didn’t work. Towel shortage and poor service. No free breakfast. Missing batteries for TV remote.

  Me and my wife spent time here from April 1st to April 8th,after the 8th we woke up to our bank account being in the negative and a little over $300 was taken and when we confronted the guy(James) that checked us in he said it was a hold but the hold is $25 then it happened 3 more times then now we booked a reservation then when James was on shift he spoke to his supervisor and we are on the DNR list they are crooks..STAY FAR AWAY super 8 next door is beyond better

  We traveled 700 miles and had a reservation. We got there and there was a conference going on. The people from the conference along with others were all waiting hours because they had no rooms cleaned, this was at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Your girl at the desk was rude and condescending to everyone. This is poor customer service and poor practice not to be prepared for this. We now have to drive 2 more hours to get a place to stay. HORRIBLE!!!!!🤬

  Stayed at the Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel and Conference Center with my wife, children, and dog, and unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The property is extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Our room had cracked ceiling trim, peeling wallpaper, and what appeared to be mold spots on the lamp shade. Right after check-in, I even found a tick on the bathroom floor. To make matters worse, our room keys repeatedly stopped working throughout the stay, forcing multiple trips to the front desk. The arcade was another frustration. Many of the machines were broken but still accepted money. Although the hotel says the arcade is operated by a third party, that still reflects poorly on the guest experience. Last year, staff at least helped reimburse tokens, but this time nothing was resolved. The most concerning issue was safety. We found open paper plates of rat poison placed under stairwells throughout the property. My dog almost got into one before I stopped him. I reported it immediately, but it remained there for over an hour before anyone removed it. That is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel catering to families and pets. The final disappointment was the pool. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for the kids to enjoy it, only to be told it was closed due to a water pump failure. My children were extremely upset. On top of that, breakfast now costs extra despite the declining quality of the property overall. What made the experience even more frustrating was that management initially stated they would work on providing some type of refund or compensation for the experience, but I never received any confirmation or follow-up afterward. Between the poor maintenance, broken amenities, safety concerns, lack of responsiveness, and failure to follow through, this stay was not worth the money. I would strongly recommend families look elsewhere.
