  Well the location is perfect. Nicely up on the hill in a quiet part of Ruidoso. Beautiful scenery. The staff has been so kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. The employee working the breakfast event help me make my first waffle. Love this place. We got the 2 room suit and we Loved it. I would definitely stay here again.

  We usually stay in AirBnB or VRBO but made an exception this time because we traveled without the family. So good we would come back with the family. As many other reviewers have noted, the hot breakfast that rotates daily was a plus (especially since most things in town ding open til 10), the is an indoor pool and hottub, and the front desk staff (on two separate occasions) went out of their way to engage me in conversation and make a personal connection. Rooms are big. Facilities are clean. The view from the hilltop is stellar. Thumbs up.

  Very poor customer service. No help from the front dest desk when checking in for a very long time. No answers on the phone when calling the front desk. Attitude from staff. Would not recommend.

  After being told to come back in 1 hour for my check in time of 4pm, I waited at the front desk for 25 minutes before someone came out from the back to the front desk. I rang the bell multiple tes while people in the office behind the desk talked to each other, but no one came out. Rooms are fine, but I would never stay here again.

  Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip due to family news. I went online to see about canceling our reservation and then called the hotel. The lady that answered the phone was very unprofessional. I told her the situation, she put me on hold and came back and stated the mgr said you would need to show proof some kind of documentation. When I asked what kind of documentation she yelled I don’t know that’s what she said then hung up on me. WOW…. I called back 3 times and they would never answer the phone. I called back later and the receptionist finally answered, I asked to speak with a mgr, the receptionist continued to be rude and unprofessional said I’ll have her call you back at this number.. Mgr never returned my call but sent a msg through the booking.com When we rescheduled this trip, this hotel we will not stay at!!!!!!!!!!
