  Everything was amazing. I've been staying in Red River for years and have stayed in a number of places, with experiences ranging from "meh" to bedbugs. I'll never stay anywhere else again! This was the first place that actually felt like a hotel rather than hotel-that's-really-just-a-rental. I'll state the one negative first: no elevator. Other than that, I can't think of a thing I would change. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable (5 pillows for a king—yay!), and there was plenty of space for luggage, accessible plugs, great AC/heat, a fridge, microwave, and a window that opened all the way. Being riverside, I loved hearing the water. The bathroom was sparklingly clean, with 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels, and 2 bath towels for EACH person. Glorious! Parking is a huge plus. There are so many lodging options in Red River where parking is limited or nonexistent. Here, parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast was another surprise—they cook eggs to order, and they're done perfectly! The hot tub was sparklingly clean, with plenty of towels and benches too sit on to cool off. Looking out over the river from the hot tub was the very definition of idyllic. The fire pit and grills looked great too. I hope you give the Best Western a try when you're next in Red River, NM!

  The rooms are a little stale but the beds were comfy. The bathroom is small but it had all you need. The counter and sink are outside the actual bathroom. The staff was very nice and we appreciated their hospitality.

  A serene location and rooms are nice however we were disappointed as the room type we booked was not honored. There was a LOT of noise in the morning, I assume from people checking out, slamming doors. The wooden plank walkways magnify the sound of suitcases rolling over them. The breakfast was nice and unusual that they will prepare your eggs to order however we didn't receive what we asked for.

  Every time we visit Red River, there’s no question where we’ll stay—the Best Western Rivers Edge Hotel feels like our home away from home. We’ve stayed here many times, and the reason we keep coming back is simple: the staff. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Deedra and Faith from the housekeeping staff. They are always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They take great pride in their work, and it shows in how spotless, comfortable, and inviting our room always is. Their warm smiles and thoughtful hospitality make us feel valued, and they truly make each stay special. We also want to recognize Michael, the General Manager, for his outstanding leadership. It’s obvious he has built a team that truly cares about its guests. From the moment we arrive until the time we leave, everyone goes out of their way to make us feel welcome. That kind of genuine hospitality is becoming harder to find, and we never take it for granted. One of the highlights of our stay is the breakfast! It is absolutely wonderful and made even more special by the personal touch. You can order fresh eggs, waffles, bacon, and other delicious items just the way you like them, and Michael himself often cooks it up for you exactly as requested. It adds such a warm, home-cooked feel to the morning and truly sets this hotel apart. The exceptional service, the friendly atmosphere, and the consistently clean and comfortable accommodations are why we return year after year. Thank you, Michael, Deedra, Faith, and the entire staff for always making our visits so memorable. We look forward to staying here for many years to come, and we wholeheartedly recommend the Best Western Rivers Edge Hotel to anyone visiting beautiful Red River, New Mexico.
