  Rooms are dated plumbing is antiquated and needs to be replaced. Not safe if you are traveling with kids.

  We stayed here with our dog in a handicapped accessible room on June 29, 2026. The room had a very comfortable King size bed with several pillows of various sizes and thickness. The bathroom was updated and very clean. The flooring was clean. We had a quiet room even though the freeway was right on the other side of the window. The breakfast was outstanding! The breakfast attendant was on it! Her name was Denise. She made the scrambled eggs freshly that morning. There were ham slices from a baked ham (rather than from a package of deli meats), grapefruit halves with a maraschino cherry, delicious, homemade posole and some of her homemade pico de gallo to go with it. Denise was hard working cleaning tables, restocking the food and was charming. She clearly felt proud of the food she was offering. She tells the story that she approached her boss and requested that with the same amount of money used to buy "warm up" foods, she be able to buy and prepare the foods herself making a healthier breakfast than if she had simply continued with the "warm up" concoctions typical of motels and hotels. We would switch from beng Hilton Honors loyalists to Best Western loyalists if the hotels had people like Denise preparing the breakfast. As it stands, we will be returning to Grants and staying at this Best Western again.

  AC went out, power socket didn't work, door was messed up, bed side lights didn't work and the list goes on. Room was clean though and the beds were nice.
