  Tad outdated hotel, nothing to write home about but has everything you need and then some. Plus the location cant be beat if youre looking to explore franconia notch specifically like me -safety: very safe! Havent had a single concern for safety, seems to be a quaint safe town of franconia and the hotel itself poses zero concerns to me. Id say very kid friendly too -wifi: great! Strong connection in room and throughout public areas as far as i can tell (im writing this review from one of their public lounge areas right now) -overall hotel smell: neutral, nothing perfumed or bad. I do appreciate they really seem to stick by their 100% non smoking policy, i havent smelled a hint of cigarettes anywhere. I was hesitant to book because of 1 bad review mentioning mold but i havent experienced any personally, and my allergy-sensitive partner hasnt had any complaints -noise level: very quiet! Its tuesday oct 6 at 6am as i write this and since we checked in at 8pm last night, i honestly havent heard a peep and even now in the lobby, its nice and quiet. Its def NOT a party atmosphere, which is how i like it ahahha -room temperature heating: great! Air comes out and heats up room very quickly, easily controlled (though the heating air smelled funny for a second, it went away quickly) -shower temperature and water pressure: great! I get cold easily but the shower hot water was really nice i will say . Turned hot quick, stayed nice and consistent (both water temp and water pressure) - bedding: clean and comfy! No concerns there -amenities: tons! Pool, laundry, vending, ice, breakfast (i havent tried any of them myself yet but they have them!) lounge areas with good wifi (key for us so my boyfriend can "work from home" even after checkout). In our 2 queen bed room, there is microwave, fridge, coffee, tv, and dining table for 2 -service: the man we spoke to at the counter was very kind, he tried his best to extend our checkout as late as possible. Still, late checkout by 1pm for only $20 extra is generous of this inn id say! -location: A+! were only 8min from echo lake+artists bluff, theres grocery and gas right across the street, and were so close to flume gorge and all the other main attractions in franconia notch, itll be really comfortable to bop back and forth from this hotel and leaf peeping :D Reasons i dropped a star: -the heating air smelling funny for a few seconds before it went away (heating itself worked great!) -towels look clean but smelled a little chemical-y, not a big deal but something i noticed -Update: saw a small cockroach in the breakfast area and one in the hotel rules binder in my room. Told the front desk about both, hoping theyll tighten bug control measures Overall, if i were to come back to franconia, this honestly wouldnt be my first choice but for a quick convenient stay it was good

  For a 2-star hotel, it's a great place. Beds are comfortable. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room. I wish there was more healthy breakfast options, like some veggies, but all in all it was ok. Beautiful location!

  A decent motel, clean, great beds, nice swimming pool. The staff is attentive and supportive. The breakfast is... available, but pretty poor.

  If you have any mold allergies or sensitivity, DO NOT stay here. My partner and I are very allergic and as soon as you step in here you can smell it and it's very damp. It's clear that it's tried to be covered up with some sort of cleaner or spray or something. We both had instant reactions and couldn't stay the night. I will say that they did refund our money with basically no issues and the young man at the front desk was helpful.
