We had a very good experience at Best Western Vicksburg and were pleasantly surprised by the overall value. It’s a convenient place to stay when traveling through Vicksburg, especially with its easy access from I-20, and the hotel provides free parking and complimentary breakfast. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, and the location also makes it convenient for visiting Vicksburg National Military Park and other attractions around town. For a straightforward, comfortable overnight stay at a reasonable price, this property does a great job. We would definitely stay here again when passing through Vicksburg.

The pros: Location was good and breakfast had lots of options. The cons: Room was terrible. The AC wasn’t on when we got there so it smelled extremely musty. I notified the front desk staff and she replied “yeah I bet” There was dog hair all over the carpet - I don’t believe it was vacuumed at all, the towels in the room were dirty and needed to be exchanged, the coffee maker parts were in the sink. As far as cleanliness goes this was far below average. There was a pool and fitness center, which we did not utilize. It was close to the highway, I’d only utilize as a last resort though.

Nice older hotel set back from road, the entrance is between dealership and Waffle House, easy to miss. A/C worked great. Room 118 had a loveseat and King size bed. Full breakfast. Everyone was nice. They were painting the wrought iron when we left so the little things are important to them.
