    I booked through priceline for a disability room in April to check in June. This hotel is stating that they don't offer any such room but they are advertising to priceline that they do. There is no compensation for the hotels continuously lying and their incidental fees are way too high. Yes they do charge you the fees upfront and there is no hold. Don't book here unless you really have to.

    Had a great stay here. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. Just stayed one night to get off the road and slept very well. There was a little bit of highway noise from the room but it really wasn't bad at all. The first floor of the hotel smells heavily of chlorine but I did not notice the odor on the fourth floor. It just smelled slightly of fresh paint in the halls. The room was very spacious and although the bathroom was on the smaller side, there is a kitchenette area with a second sink which helped with multiple people getting ready in the morning. They are generous with the hot water. I would recommend getting a room as far as you can from the elevator, the door makes an atrocious noise as it opens and closes. Also the whole thing creaks and moans as it moves and it's quite slow but carried us and our luggage just fine. The breakfast looked pretty decent but I'm not a breakfast person so I just had a little yogurt. I liked the view of the trees from our room!

    Staff were professional and courteous. We found bed bugs in our first room, 206 before going to sleep the first night of our stay. We were moved to Room 207 in which we also found bed bugs. We caught one bed bug and gave it to the front desk. We also emailed multiple photos of bed bugs found in the rooms to the hotel. There was no point in attempting to move to a third room, so we made the most of the situation while we were there and did our best to protect ourselves from the hotel's infestation. Our home and vehicle are now infested with bed bugs contracted from the hotel. We were at the hotel for four nights in total. We requested the hotel reimburse us for the infestation by refunding the cost of our four night's stay. Staff made it very clear multiple times during two separate phone calls that the owner would only compensate a single night's stay and that the owner refused to budge on this. We observed other guests coming into and going out of Room 206 the day after we moved out, so we do not believe that the hotel took any measures to keep those guests safe either. We have already spent more than $1,500 trying to fix this situation caused by the hotel's negligence. Because the owner made it clear they would not attempt to make us whole, we will be reporting this incident to the corporate offices and posting to every public review platform we have access to. We will do everything in our power to prevent others from making the same mistake we did by staying at the Best Western Plus Kalamazoo Suites. Had the owner attempted to do right by us, we would have reflected it in our reviews. They did not. If the owner chooses to alter their decision and attempt to make us whole, then our reviews will be updated to reflect that change.

    Got there without booking online and that was a mistake. Hostess told me I got the "last" room. The parking lot wasn't even half full. She then charged me nearly double what the bookings were showing on their website. Book ahead, everything else was fine.
