  We booked a room block at the Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel in Danvers, MA for our wedding and had an excellent experience! Jill, the Director of Sales, was extremely easy to work with and very quick to answer any email/phone communications. The front desk staff was also friendly and accommodating. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are extremely clean, breakfast is complementary, and they have a good sized pool. What sets this hotel apart is their awesome patio outback with comfortable outdoor furniture and a fire pit. It was a great place for wedding guests to gather and absolutely enhanced our stay! Thanks for having us!

  Things seem fine (first night) but you should know if you’re traveling with kids or strollers or wheelchairs that the elevator is broken and they have 1 other that’s barely limping by. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Which is pretty important information. Adding to add that the pool is not heated - it’s freezing and there was what looked like rat poop floating in it. Never mind the piles of dirt at the bottom. The shower in the pool area is steaming hot and burns you. The water pressure in the hotel room is barely trickling out. Multiple points of the hotel is under construction.

  They had 2 small elevators but one was out of service for a week before we arrived. The mattress was awful & we woke up with a backache daily.

  This is probably one of the best places I've stayed with my family. Room was clean. Breakfast was great. Coffee in room not great, but good enough. Coffee downstairs in lobby was good. Location was great. Price was of the room for 3 days was amazing, and no hidden fees. I highly recommend this hotel if going to Salem. Book ASAP though.

  We booked here originally for only 1 night and ended up staying for 3 nights ....it was a very nice, clean hotel and the staff there was wonderful. I met the one manager there (I wish I could remember her name) that was just absolutely lovely and made our experience that much better. I loved watching her interact with her staff : her managerial skills definitely shone through! Breakfast was always great, no complaints at all with this hotel : keep up the great work!
