  Great location. Good value. Checked in by Lucius and upgraded to courtyard view room. Given our bottled water as we are BW members. Breakfast hot and delicious with lots of choices. Bed soft and comfy. Room clean. Keurig did not work but plenty of coffee in lobby. Able to walk to bourbon street easily. Gated parking. Would stay again.

  The front desk staff was very friendly. The location is accesible to French Quarter but the surrounding not too safe specially at night. We found coaches in the room and the staff promptly moved us to another room. I left one of shirts in the back of the bathroom door and i realized to the morning I was missing the shirt. I reported to front desk but the shirt got missed. Never returned.

  I would definitely recommend staying here! The staff were always friendly and super helpful. The breakfast had a great variety for being a continental breakfast. The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to the Quarter and Bourbon street but located just out of the way so the noise was not a problem. Plenty of other walkable local restaurants and bars as well. The rooms were a little small but they were clean and the beds were super comfortable. Plus we did not spend much time there anyways. We loved the courtyard and pool area.

  This hotel seems a little gritty when you first arrive, but don't be deterred. Behind the gritty exterior of Rampart Street you will find an oasis in the bustle of the city. The pool and courtyard are so inviting, and the hours are great, but what makes this property special outside of the amazing location is Gary, the hotel cat. She is a surprise we were expecting, and made this property feel like home. My kids were so delighted by the accomodations, and the staff was incredibly friendly!

  The best part of our stay here was the staff! Everyone was beyond helpful. We also enjoyed the proximity to everything we wanted to see in the French Quarter, and the pool area (the hotel cat Gary was adorable and hangs out there often). Unfortunately the room itself was very cramped for a family of 4, and a little outdated. I think this place would work better for smaller parties, but larger families may have a hard time here over longer stays.
