I've stayed here twice, and both times the staff was great the rooms were super clean. Very nice hotel!

I've never been to a Best Western that the room smelled of mold and mildew... it was terrible.. we were offered a room freshener spray that we 'would have to bring right back'
The bed was comfortable

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room.
I understand that I brought my kitten with me and that we were placed on a pet-friendly floor. However, being a pet-friendly room does not mean that it should be any less clean than other rooms. The room had noticeable dust, and the overall cleanliness could have been much better.
The bathroom was also concerning. There was a crack in the tile near the shower that seemed to be contributing to humidity and moisture in the area. There were also visible stains and buildup on the shower and walls, which made it seem like those areas had not been properly wiped or cleaned.
I understand that pet-friendly rooms may require additional cleaning, but I still expect the room to be thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Unfortunately, the condition of the room did not meet the standard I expected from a Best Western Plus property.

We would stay here again. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. You can tell it’s an older building but is being maintained. The beds and bathroom/ cleaning area was nice and clean which I deeply appreciated. The breakfast also offers a variety of options (fruit, pastry, protein, waffle, yogurt, cereal, juice) and a coffee machine. Management resolved a situation well when I made an error with our booking. The lady working at the breakfast area was attentive and very polite.
I'm always weary with BW but thought Plus would be better. And the reviews was better than most. But no. I respect that the rooms are inside and not facing out the parking lot (although 1st floor is outside doors). Walls are SUPER thin. We are not that far from 65 but also we are far enough we shouldn't be hearing every car driving by. The pool is closed at 10pm. That should be reconsidered. Or at least have quiet swims from 9-10. There were so many LOUD people, and again, walls are super thin.
The room itself was mediocre at best. Beds were good. Fridge and microwave which was a nice plus. They could have used a better contractor tbh. The bathroom has unusable areas. The door is in the way. Kind of a safety hazard for disabled people if you think about it. Maybe the doors should open out rather than in.
