  Overall a positive experience. The location was great for our trip’s purpose- to visit Wrigley. It felt safe, rooms were clean and Breakfast was great for continental. The gym was not out of this world but did have a Peloton; which was a great surprise. The walk to Wrigley was 12-15 mins and through a very safe neighborhood. The only thing that needs to be mentioned was the staff that was at the front desk upon my arrival. I was dropped off by an Uber with luggage for myself and family of 4. My family was enjoying an event in the city and I assumed someone would be available to help get the (4) rolling bags in. Wrong I struggled down stairs for the two brunettes to say once I finally got in “you know- there is a ramp” They had a hard time putting down their phones to tell me this but neither even tried to help nor recruit help before or after. No help getting a cart or showing me a cart. They were rude and have been mentioned in MANY reviews on this page. For manager reference- it was check in 7/29 @ 5ish. This is a bad look for the establishment. Very rude girls and left a poor first impression

  Hawthorne Terrace staff, at the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, are all excellent! I stay at this hotel often to visit family and have never had a bad experience. The location is in walking distance to many great shops and restaurants, not to mention the Laugh Factory, the Vic Theater, and Wrigley Field.
