Stayed one night and it was pretty cheap but the breakfast was good and it was clean

I stayed here for one night on 06/06/2026 I was not happy with my stay here… I wished I would have chosen somewhere else to stay. I had just gotten there from a long day off the road and all I wanted to do was REST. I had gotten there to check in and no one was at the front desk!!! I waited and waited then a lady came in and need the front desk to and no help!!! Well the front desk woman eventually came and I just could please her lack of getting to the desk to help us she took her sweet time as if no one was up there!! She saw me with food from a restaurant and assumed I was door dash I’m assuming, I saw that because she asked me was I there to drop off and I said no I am a guest!!! During the check in process she gave me a hard time. I asked for 2 extra wash clothes as I know that normally only 2 come in the most rooms for 1 person for a one night stay… Well guess what I didn’t receive them I had to come back down for them and I couldn’t believe what she said to me as a guest she actually said to me “Do they not put wash clothes in the room” and she also gave me a look that wasn’t very pleasant!!! I told her that I asked you for these in the beginning and I needed those 2 Extra wash clothes as I use 2 wash clothes for each shower!!! As a guest there in that hotel I shouldn’t have even felt like I had to explain myself about what I needed the 2 extra wash clothes for she should have just got what I asked her for and that it!!! Her service was bad!!! She also couldn’t remember that I asked her for just 2 washed clothes when she came back because she asked me again!!!! And I repeated myself and she said well I just brought you all of them meaning a towel 2 wash clothes and a hand towel so I just took it and said thank you and that was it. That night I didn’t sleep well the air didn’t get cold enough for me so I slept sorta hot and another thing that really upset me is that the bed was not comfortable at all it felt like I was sleeping on a hard surface mattress and definitely wasn’t a pillow top mattress. Also the inside of the microwave was rusted pretty bad, So I didn’t put in food in it to warm up. The service also was not good the next morning!!! The woman didn’t say good morning or anything just asked me to hold on and put her finger up to give me the gesture to wait!!! In which as a guest I didn't appreciate that and then assumed I wanted a receipt in which I went along with it but really I just wanted to go ahead and check out before 11:00AM and which I didn’t and everything went okay with that but customer service could have been better. Horrible service can ruin people wanting to come back and I didn’t feel very welcomed as a guest!!!!

I had the best stay at the Best Western Plus in Fairburn. The front desk Eric was amazing! His customer service skills were awesome. The check in process was smooth and he was very friendly. I enjoyed the room and the amenities thank you.

To start Breakfast is 6-9 it was fine, seems to change by the day with a few different food options . Everything was clean hot and well presented.
Unfortunately though the rooms were really horrible. doors obviously unlock through key access cards however we happened to double check our door before leaving and was open to push it right open. If you don’t literally slam it closed it will be unlocked. Front desk told us they were out of tissue went back again and they told us they were out of towels. The bathroom was dirty shower and all. Pretty sure there is mold all over the bathroom. sink drain was broken your sink will fill up if you have the water on too long. There were random drain fly’s on the walls and in bathroom which was a bit concerning. Also not to mention there was literally plugs nowhere only two available that actually worked tbh. Developed a cough first night we were staying there and felt really sick. Honestly would not recommend this hotel.

The check-in was efficient and friendly. We were welcomed as regulars with the company. The front desk deserves an A+ rating.
We found the room’s appearance to be pleasant, but there was considerable lack of attention to detail and maintenance. There was no tissue in the holder nor an extra box for back up and the sink was a very slow drainer. Unfortunately these are things a guest does not discover until they are settled into the room, shoes off and partially undressed. The shower had a nice spray and the water bristling hot.
In the room, the drawers of both bedside tables would not stay shut. I stuffed some toilet paper (lacking tissues) in the gap to keep the drawers shut so as not to injure ourselves getting out of the bed during the night. One of the tables had a large hole drilled out, apparently from a previous installation.
None of these issues were deal killers standing alone, however the multitude of overlooked and neglected detail made me wonder about what's under the hood.
In fairness, this is a 2 star property. I think I was fooled by the “Plus" designation and what was likely a review polished up with AI.
