I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel truly deserves one.
First, I want to say that the staff was friendly, polite, and did their best. They were not the problem.
The hotel itself, however, was one of the dirtiest places I've ever stayed. The property is extremely outdated, but being old isn't the issue—being filthy is. The room was dirty from the moment I walked in. The floors looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned, the bathtub was dirty, the refrigerator and freezer had visible dirt and residue, and the entire room felt neglected.
The worst part was the towels. They were neatly folded, but they were clearly not properly cleaned. They even smelled like the previous guest's perfume, which was incredibly unsettling. Clean towels should never smell like another person.
The curtains were stained, moldy-looking, damaged, and hanging apart, making the room feel even more run-down. Everywhere I looked, there was another sign that basic housekeeping and maintenance had been ignored.
This hotel is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and significant renovations. Guests should never have to question whether their room or linens are actually clean.
The staff deserves recognition for their kindness, but management needs to do much better. Cleanliness is the absolute minimum expectation when paying for a hotel room, and unfortunately, this property failed in every way.
