  I would love to give this place a five star review, but the rooms are a little dated and a little fixing up would be perfect. Nothing major! As far as the vibe in this hotel, it’s very apparent that the people that work there are very, very happy and like their job. Lynne Was amazing and took such great care of me at the front counter you can tell that she loves what she does. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff in the back make it is amazing! It is spotless and clean and pretty much perfect they just need to do a few updates on the rooms aesthetically. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay🩵

  Pet Parents Be Advised We have mixed feelings about Best Western Plus Castle Rock. The 9.0 Orbitz rating seem to reflect experiences of guests without pets. While there were some positive aspects to the hotel, as a responsible pet parent, I would not choose to stay here again. The property advertises itself as “pet friendly,” but in practice, it is only minimally accommodating to pets. The designated “approved” pet area was disappointing: it consisted mainly of dirt, rocks, glass, fire ants, cactus, sparse grass, and highway debris—conditions I consider unsafe and unsuitable for pets. Positively, the hotel did provide pet waste bags and a trash can. However, the $40 per night pet fee felt excessive given the poor quality of the pet facilities. It was especially frustrating to see well-maintained grassy areas elsewhere on the property, all posted with nasty signs prohibiting pet use. For fellow pet parents: unless management improves the north side “approved” pet area, there is currently no truly safe or comfortable place for dogs to relieve themselves. Inside the hotel, the room was a little older than expected, but it was very clean, and the staff that we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and the TV was very large. There were a few things that needed updating, like the TV cabinet door needed repairing, and note that “accessible” meant that there were grab bars in the bathtub and toilet, and the sink area was wheelchair accessible. The shower had a hand held option but no chair and was not wheelchair accessible. Overall, it was very comfortable. For those traveling with pets, I hope management improves the “approved” pet area; otherwise, you may want to consider other accommodations.

  Definitely enjoyed the night in this hotel. Walking into the lobby, you immediately see that its clean and modern. Bette at the front desk was very friendly. The room was cool, clean and had no odor. Beds were comfy. There were plenty of towels, hot water with good pressure. Our room faced the highway but we didnt notice the traffic. Breakfast was delicious with fresh spicy omelets. Excellent stop if you're in Castle Rock.

  Immaculate rooms, incredible mountain views, and a great location near downtown Castle Rock, restaurants, and shopping. The breakfast was good, and the staff was exceptionally thoughtful, asking guests if they wanted anything else before closing down service. Denver is about an hour away with annoying traffic, but we only went to Denver once so that wasn't an issue for us. We had a great stay!

  If you’re traveling with a service dog you might as well toss the tens of thousands of dollars you have invested out the window. The woman at the front desk was beside herself trying to figure out how to put us in “ pet friendly” room. The first floor is for pets no other rooms are, I tried explaining that she’s not a pet she’s a service dog, that’d be like telling someone with a cpap machine they could only be on the first floor. Apparently she needs to brush up on ADA rules. The first floor was booked so we ended up with our room, I’m kind of curious what she was writing down on her sticky notes about me though. I will be keeping a close eye on my cc bill. I’m glad it’s only one night. I’ve been staying at best western every week for almost 10 years, it’s things like this that make me want to look into other places.
