  What a gem of a hotel hiding in plain sight, right off the 5. The AC units are whisper-quiet and go down to Frigidaire level. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are spotless. There’s also a restaurant attached—CR Gibb’s. We went expecting to find a decent burger/beer situation and ended up with entrees that could hold their own in major cities. And as if all that weren’t enough, whoever sets the WiFi passwords has a great sense of humor!

  This hotel is a scam. It feels like a shitty motel that might have been old apartments from what i can tell. DO NOT make the same mistake that i did. As soon as we walked in the room it smelt like 70’s and Cigarettes. I didn't think to notify staff cause i figured all the rooms smelt like this. I come to find out on my credit card statement that they charged me 250$ for a smoke odor knowing the room already smelled like that. I called 4 times to speak to a manager and try to resolve this and each time they said no manager was present and took my info for a call back. The staff was rude and unhelpful and the managers never called me back. The hotel lobby is nice but thats about it. Check for bed bugs. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Overall sketchy and loud until 10pm+. The walls and doors are super thin. STAY FAR AWAY.

  Currently 230am. Rowdy drunken group of college kids woke myself and my kids up six times at all hours of the night. Staff asked them to quiet down, but it continued and hotel staff wouldn’t ask them to leave despite multiple other rooms also complaining. Then they suggested they continue drinking at a picnic bench on-property and when they returned, again woke me and my kids up. Hotel staff won’t ask them to leave and stated that their type 47 liquor license permits folks to consume alcohol off-premises and after hours in the parking lot 100yds away from the restaurant that holds the license. This was a grossly mishandled situation and shame on the unprofessionalism this collegiate sports team exhibited.

  Good clean rooms. Beds are real comfortable. Breakfast was real good.

  Best western redding has great rooms, clean with all the normal travel features. Their gym is clean and decent for a hotel. This was booked for a company training and they were extremely pleasant staff. The location is good and the noice minimal. Thanks best western staff!!
