Overall, this hotel was decent for the price I paid. The rooms were clean, the beds was neat & well sized, so overall I would give the room 4 stars. The only problem I encountered was that the bathroom door wouldn't lock, so with a family of multiple people, it was an annoyance. The breakfast was acceptable as the minimum I wanted from it compared to other hotels I visit is waffles & eggs, there was also other options like yogurt, boiled eggs, and assorted breakfast staples like bagels, cereal, and fruit. Overall though, I would have liked to see a 2nd waffle maker, but additional variety for the waffle topping such as whipped cream and different syrups would have made me very satisfied. The main issue and the one which influences my review the most is the state of the outdoor swimming area. The main reason I booked the property was to swim in the outdoor pool or make use of the hot tub if it was colder outside. Unfortunately both were very unclean, it appeared to me as if they have never been treated, cleaned, or had the filters cleaned/replaced. It felt to me from all the bugs, hair, and other things floating in the pool with bubbles around them, that it was unhygenic. The outdoor pool was also cold during the day, so it was not heated, but this may possibly be expected. The 2nd main reason I booked this was for the fitness center. The main things the gym were missing was a dumbbell rack, and a treadmill that wasn't out of service, so the fitness center is not good for training much, and certainly not for those that look to stay fit & healthy during vacation/travel.
