  We stayed there Aug. 14, 15, 2026, to have a brief getaway from watching our 5 grandboys (whew). We received such a surprise! The service we encountered was excellent. Examples: sitting outside at the pool area, a staff worker came out and handed us 2 ice cold water bottles, saying, "I thought you might appreciate these in the heat." My wife had to connect with the front desk on some admin. details, and Kristine (Kristina?) was very helpful. So much so, that Lisa went to the front desk later just to chat and have Starbucks with her. Staff greeted us nicely as we went about the property. While using the exercise room, I couldn't get one of the exercise cycles to work. Asking for help, the staff member came over worked hard to get it going. The whole place had a quiet, inviting atmosphere. Our room was simple and clean. The breakfast area was the same, and along with the basic breakfast setup, also had scrambled eggs cooked just right, sausage, bacon the next day, a waffle setup, and great accessory additions to the hot cereal in the cooker. The setup at the pool was thoughtful - umbrellas, BBQ, lounge chairs, upright chairs around small tables, and a good-sized gazebo with plenty of shade, having a round table that could take 5-6 chairs. The price for what we received was quite reasonable. It felt a little like we were on a relaxing vacation (in Fresno? next to the airport?? Yes) We talked about staying again during future visits with our daughter and son in law, to enjoy more mini vacations. Thank you, Best Western Fresno Airport, for being a refreshing and wonderful unexpected blessing :)

  This hotel went out of there way to make my trip more enjoyable. These hotels are better than Hiltons.

  The rest of my review on the facility is irrelevant. I’m only leaving this as a note of recognition and recommendation for the hotel staff at this location. Especially Mz. Katherine! She was the most professional, friendly, and patient front desk staffer I’ve ever met. Also, unfortunately I didn’t remember his name although he was wearing a name tag, the tall black gentleman was so polite and helpful and even brought some supplies to the room for us which must have been taxing considering how fully booked the place was. I will continue to use this location due to the remarkable staff!

  DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Pay the extra 20 bucks to stay at Hampton or holiday inn if you absolutely have to stay right by the airport ROACHES in my original room. Broken A/C in second room, my room never went below 75 degrees. Slept maybe 3 hours total. Have pictures attached of both issues. Told morning staff all of this and they told me management would reach out to me once they came in. It’s been over 5 weeks now and they haven’t called, texted, or emailed me at all. - Despite filling out surveys and contacting BW support. Extremely disappointed as a frequent Best Western guest ( including staying here once before), this was my worst stay of all time. I wouldn’t have left reviews but since management doesn’t want to even talk to me about it I have to let others know.
