  If I could rate this store a negative star, I would. My fiance purchased a perfume for me. I unwrapped it and realized it wasn’t the scent I wanted. When I returned the VERY NEXT DAY to exchange it, I was told by the associate that his boss (Seth Boert) said that it could not be exchanged because of the plastic on the box had been removed. The perfume had not been used. It was brand new and was the very next day after the purchase, but because the plastic around the box had been removed, they refused to exchange it. Save your time and buy a different brand because this brand is not helpful and does not care about their consumer.

  I came in looking for a new perfume and wanted to try something different. She recommended several fragrances and quickly understood the type of scents I like. Her recommendations were spot on, and I ended up purchasing one that I absolutely love. She also gave me a generous-sized sample of another perfume I was debating between, which I really appreciated. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

  Big shout out to Casey! He is sharp, young man that knows his stuff and was more than helpful in my journey of acquiring a bottle of bal d’afrique absolu. I couldn’t help but fall in love with absolu line from byredo. Thanks again Casey and the team at South Coast. I’ll be back to get a bottle of the Mojave Ghost forsure!

  My wife and I stopped by Byredo and were lucky enough to be helped by Meggie — who was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, she made us both feel welcomed and provided a very lively vibe to the store. She helped guide us through the different scents, while also making thoughtful recommendations. We never felt rushed or pushed to make any purchases — just a relaxed, enjoyable experience with someone who clearly knows and loves what she’s doing. The personal attention, genuine warmth, and thoughtful recommendations made it one of the best shopping experiences we’ve had in a long time. We left with fragrances we’re both excited about with huge smiles on our faces. Many thanks to Meggie and her manager for making our visit so special. We’ll definitely be back!
