Pros: large clean room & comfortable bed. Friendly check in staff. The grounds were pretty to walk around. Enjoyed the ducks on the lake.
Cons: no AC. We were there during a “heat advisory” and it was warm & stuffy in our room. Sure we could open windows, which we did…but then you hear all the late arrivers and early departures from the parking lot so not so great for rest.
Guests vaping. Ruined the fresh air experience.
Breakfast was decent but was disappointed when @ 924am waffles were no longer available even though breakfast goes til 10am.
In the end it was a decent but overpriced choice. As long as you can get by without AC.
Right on Lale Louise..great lake and mountain view with large lawn area and outdoor seating. Very relaxing. The only restaurant on site is Chop House so all other options require a car. Breakfast included.

stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night, was greeted by a nice young man at the front desk, got us checked in right away, we had a 2nd floor, lake view room with a balcony and did enjoy
sitting there watching the lake and the activities on the water, it is a very relaxing place
one thing to note is, the rooms have no AC, being on the 2nd floor we kept the sliding door open and enjoyed the lake breeze.
Breakfast was the usual fare, but good.
If I was to be in Wasilla again, I'd stay here, it truly has a resort feeling here

Could not get a good night sleep
Rooms do not have air conditioning so it’s not ideal for summer months as it gets pretty warm. Gets very noisy when keeping the window open as half the rooms are facing the parking lot. Curtains do not cover the windows completely so light comes in till very late at night.
Staff is very rude and unable or unwilling to help. I don’t recommend this hotel especially during summer months.

Terrible service and a highly disappointing experience. The front desk receptionist was rude, unhelpful, and openly blamed her lack of assistance on just getting back from vacation. There were almost no vegetarian options at breakfast. When we asked for help, we were unapologetically told they were out of eggs, muffins, and coffee lids. To make matters worse, our room keys were deactivated exactly at 11:00 AM, locking us out before we could do a final sweep of the room. Management needs to address these service issues immediately.
