  Nice place in a remote location (Kodiak) housekeeping did a nice job. Building is aging out.

  Hotel is very dated. Hallways smell of heavy perfume/air freshener. Carpets worn and the entire hotel needs updating. Toilet was very slow to flush, shower curtain will not stay closed (position of curtain in photo is where the shower curtain slides to, no matter how many times you shut it), thus getting water all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom door will not shut or lock. ( because I was traveling with my nephew, I had to announce I was going to the bathroom/shower so that no one accidentally walked in on me). I took video but this app will only allow photos. Shower was unfinished. The Breakfast was good, nice views, nice selection of breakfast item. Unlike other reviewers, the front desk staff was nice and attentive. However on our second day none of our room keys worked and we did have to go back to have them re-programmed.

  Modern furniture in the rooms and considered one of the best hotels in Kodiak. They're location is great for walking around the harbor, shops, and restaurants.

  1) The parking is very tricky due to it being on a hill and a slant and narrow. 2) The boy at the front desk wasn't very helpful nor informative on anything. Not very pleasant and never looked at me when speaking, just on the computer watching something. 3) Only had 1 washer and 1 dryer working, no biggie until I went to do my laundry and there was poop in the washing machine. So, I got a person from housekeeping to see if the could do something, and they did in about an hour I could do my laundry. When it was time to dry my clothes 45 minutes later when it was done I open up the door and clothes where still damp. There where only 2 pair of jeans, 2 leggings, 4 t-shirts and some socks and underwear. I went to the front desk again (for the 5th time since Monday) This is the 1st time I ever left a complaint ever. This was supposed to be a good experience for myself and my fiance , being we probably won't have this opportunity to come again and this was our 1st time just made the experience less enjoyable. You really have to fend for yourself and no one offers any help. Feeling disappointed 😞
