It’s already hard as it is trying to find shades as an ebony skin babe, but trying to find your shade in a busy airport duty free with 20 mins till departure, yikes! I already been to a well known rival concession opposite, who had failed in matching me, the assistant there advised I give CT a try and speak directly to PAM. So I walked over thinking this would be another mess. I was ready to be told that my shade didn’t exist or have a foundation 4 shades lighter put on my skin! I was stressed out at the thought But this was nothing for PAM. She was calm and collect and asked what I was looking for.
I told PAM I needed foundation and didn’t know where to start. Off the bat she asked necessary questions, type of coverage, where is wear it to, type of finish? I hadn’t thought of these. I opted for a medium coverage, now for matching. PAM looked for shades she thought would match and pulled out a 2 shades, applying what she thought would be perfect to my skin, I was worried but had already accepted my fate. I lifted the mirror and was in total shock, I’m sure she had applied foundation, but I couldn’t see a thing, it was definitely a fantastic match, and on the first try!! I immediately felt confident! I came in for just a foundation, but left with at least 5 products just due to PAM, she makes sure you understand how the products work, what they would look like on your skin, what works with what, a true artist! She didn’t try to hustle me into buying products I didn’t need either, I simply bought more once i truly understood each product, thanks to her great expertise!
PAM is truly great at her job and understands the make up needs of black and brown skin women! She makes you feel seen and beautiful in world which can be soo limiting for us!
In my opinion PAM is the reason I am now a CT girl, I would like to hope that CT keep a hold of her and put her somewhere higher in the business as really she shouldn’t be working counter in an airport!! Her knowledge and know how for black and brown skin, is something! If CT ever need an advocate for women of colour, it’s PAM!
