What a joke, lol. It's giving drive-thru, but without the burger and fries.
If you have chronic pain and longstanding issues, steer clear of this place. If they can't cut you open tomorrow, they will gaslight you and tell you everything is fine. :^)
Not gonna name names, but imagine being handed a 20-year-long set of issues, taking <10 minutes to look into it, and parroting a report from another clinic - when I explicitly came for a second independent opinion. 🦜
Saying "your pain is because you have bad posture" is some of the most egregiously circular reasoning I have witnessed thus far from so-called professionals.
Gee, I couldn't possibly imagine why my posture is crooked. Maybe it's because of the fact that I never regained my ROM after a meniscus surgery, my legs are 2.2cm different in length and I have bowed legs, as per a recent X-Ray, and now my knees are very asymmetric in how far they can bend - which I even so generously spoon-fed to the doctor, to no avail. Fun fact, I had gait problems as early as age 6.
+2 points for entertainment value though, because if you say something that isn't part of their boilerplate script you will get that 👁👄👁 stare and an "I can't help you, good luck" from the doc. Lol
But no - according to the folks here, "that's normal", and apparently all knees are supposed to click with every step. So noted. It would appear they forgot that I am 28, not 82. Maybe my skincare does need work after all, tragic. :^)
Cherry on top? Pushing for physio despite me very openly stating I have DPDR and low proprioception. A doctor's job is to work with the patient - not their ego.
No one listens to you. They push their version of events and pat themselves on the back for it.
Do better.
Mandatory update: my knee gave way and for a second I had to learn how to fly. Fell straight on my knee so now my other one is messed up too. :^) When will "doctors" learn to listen to their patients? Lol
