  Very disappointing customer service. I went to the counter with one cream while a woman Gen X, with curly brown hair was giving another customer detailed instructions about several products. I waited for approximately two minutes, but she did not acknowledge me or ask an available colleague to assist me. I politely said, “I’m sorry to interrupt, but I only need one minute to pay for this cream.” Instead of responding courteously, she appeared annoyed that I had interrupted her. She then called a colleague from the back office, who assisted me immediately. I completely understand that she was helping another customer, but a simple acknowledgment—“Someone will assist you shortly”—or calling her colleague from the beginning would have avoided the entire situation. Customers should not be ignored and then made to feel uncomfortable for politely asking to pay.
