I used the pool at the Best Western while my 3-year-old attended private swimming lessons run by a separate company. I paid close to $400 for the lessons, but the pool conditions made the experience really concerning.
The water was so cold that my son’s lips turned blue and he was shivering the entire time he was in the pool. At the same time, the area outside the pool was extremely hot, to the point where I was sweating and my face was burning red while watching.
I reached out to staff about the pool temperature and was told there was nothing wrong. I was then transferred to a manager’s voicemail and never received a response.
Regardless of the lesson provider, the pool itself was uncomfortably cold and did not feel appropriate for very young children. The experience left me worried about the conditions and disappointed with how the concern was handled.
I stayed here while working on a project in Saskatoon, and overall, it’s a clean and well-maintained hotel with good amenities.
The service was ok. I didn't really need anything. Checking out was fast and easy. It is kind of far from everything. Not even a gas station is close. The room was clean, the kitchenette was nice to have.
Falsely advertise queen size beds that are not queen, toilet ran intermittently for the whole stay, rangehood vent creaked with the wind all night, shower had next to no water pressure, TV very limited with no streaming access.
Room was nice enough, as were the staff.
Location was fine though we weren't there for the airport, free parking is a plus.
Breakfast was fine.
Would not book again.

Room was clean, lots of space, decent price for what we got. Location was easy enough to get around
