  Stayed over the 2025 Labour Day holidays. The staff were extremely responsive even when needed late at night. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked. Easy walking distance to public transit. A quiet area of the city.

  **Headline:** Property damage, room discrepancy, and management completely evading accountability! Never stay here! **Review:** My stay at this hotel was hands down the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. First, the actual room assigned to me completely regularized with the description on the platform. The room pictures on the platform explicitly showed a room with a balcony, but the room I received did not have one at all. Most unacceptably, my car was heavily scratched on the exterior doors while parked in the hotel lot for two full days and nights without being moved. When I discovered the damage and reported it to the front desk, the staff's attitude was extremely cold and poor. Although the manager eventually came out to inspect the vehicle, took down my phone number, and promised to look into it, they completely vanished afterwards. There has been no follow-up, no explanation, and they are completely evading their responsibility. This hotel lacks even the most basic security and customer service standards. I strongly advise future travelers to save your money, protect your property and peace of mind, and choose a different hotel instead.

  This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. When booking this hotel, we were shown photos that looked completely different from reality. The pictures on the website suggested beautiful river views, but our room overlooked unattractive buildings instead. There was no mention of this on the hotel’s page. We also expected to have a balcony based on the listing, but there was no balcony in our room at all. The room itself was extremely disappointing. None of the windows could be opened, which meant that for five days and nights we had no way to get fresh air into the room. On top of that, there was a constant unpleasant smell, like mold or dampness, throughout our entire stay. The breakfast experience was even worse. The only time we tried eating at the hotel, we paid almost $40 for two people. When we arrived, there was virtually no food left except for a few tasteless sausages and some juice. The staff member who charged us clearly knew that no more food would be prepared that morning, yet still took our money without warning us that almost everything was gone. We spent nearly $1,300 on this stay and received service that was completely unacceptable. We asked if it would be possible to change rooms, but nobody gave us a clear answer or attempted to help resolve the situation. For the amount of money we paid, we expected at least basic comfort, honesty, and customer service. Instead, we were left feeling misled and ignored. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

  The rooms and amenities were great, the location is in walking distance from a lot of restaurants and bars. Unfortunately the breakfast "buffet" is very disappointing , the bacon was salted beyond belief, the sausages were horrid, eggs tasteless for almost 14.99 + tip. If you do come here, do yourself a favor and eat out. Everything else great.

  Highly recommend!!! Amazing views from upper river view balcony rooms which I included here. Way better price than Ottawa in Gatineau and half the taxes. It was a beyond spectacular view. Very quiet corner room. I was pleasantly surprised given the negative reviews of this place. I felt it was a highly underrated hotel. The front desk staff (Thanks so much to you all!!!) were actually very accommodating and polite. Yes, carpet is old, but I did not notice any noxious smells and I am sensitive to smells. I did not try the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The balcony had 2 chairs and a table. Everything was well cleaned. Decent blackout curtains but still some light coming through so bring sleep mask if light sensitive sleeper. I heard very little noise in the upper corner room. Location is a gorgeous 25 min walk over the Alexandra bridge and 30 min to Portage bridge. Taxis or Lyft from downtown were 7 to 10 dollars. Right next to Museums of History and Civilization and Bobino Bagels has amazing bagels and ice cream too!!!!
