  Wife and I showed up on a Saturday at 7pm after a hockey game, dining room was empty but for some reason people were waiting, we asked if we could sit at the bar area we were told “you can but you can’t order food only drinks” what!?! That’s against the liquor laws isn’t it?

  I’ve come here quite a few times for various occasions. I was excited recently to come with some friends since I loved the food and everything before, so waiting for the line up of groups outside was no problem. However when I walked in to put my name on the waitlist a waitress had walked up to put some menus on the front counter and I smiled at her thinking she was the one who would be doing the waitlist but then she rolled her eyes, turned and left??? Two seconds later the waitress taking the waitlist came up and took my name. When we got a table which luckily wasn’t too long of a wait once my group got there, we were seated and they asked for our orders. I attached pictures of the menu picture and my actual dish (after mixing it to look for anything other than noodles) but I literally counted 5 small pieces of steak. There was barely any of the toppings I seen in the photo and I was ordering because I thought the dish would mainly be the mushrooms, garlic, and some steak toppings. It was 2/3 noodle, 1/3 toppings, maybe less?? The rest of the group who ordered similar noodle dishes had things like maybe 2-3 shrimp in their pasta or barely any meat. Then we had multiple waiters instead of one for our table which was fine except it took asking three times to get a box. Three different waitresses asking if there was anything else they could get for us and a friend and myself both said debit machine and some boxes. Finally the third girl grabbed some right after we had asked whereas I have no clue what happened to the other two girls we had asked. All the waitresses who helped were sweet but I was just floored by these few things. I’ve been here before when it’s been busy, when it’s been quiet and it’s been fine both times. Yes it was busy tonight but it’s mostly been when I’ve come and I’ve had no issues. So I’m genuinely confused and thinking it might be a one off but I was mostly unimpressed by these few things menu vs actual dish.

  Ate there Aug 2nd today....my food chicken parmasan and pasta was awful...noodles were cold and rubbery while the chicken parmasan was cold, dry and cheese on top wasn't melted...only good thing about our first time visit was our server Kaden

  Logan was our server for our meal! He was very polite and upbeat. Logan was very informative about the menu and deals going for the day, and was able to recommend what to try that was yummy. He made our meal experience a fun time. Food was delicious as always!

  I have been to many different locations and often get the same thing but somehow cooks Mitch and Ryan managed to make this the best meal I've ever had tasted at an East Side Mario's! They cooked my onions to perfection ! They were not too raw or too mushy they were perfect! The whole dish was so flavourful, including my soup! It was just tastier here! My husband agreed it his was also very delicious! Our lovely server Sarah was very attentive and was always asking if we needed refills of anything and we enjoyed a little chit chat with her about movie choices . I did not get her name but the hostess was also very quick to notice us and have us seated in a friendly manner. We will be back again when visiting in the future.
