Came in to switch my phone plan, i was assisted Rayyan whl did a amazing job! Got absolutely amazing customer service. Will be coming back to this branch for sure.
I didn’t have issues with my last in-store visits. However, their customer service line is ridiculous. Over multiple conversation, the employees lied and misled me regarding the steps to cancel my account and proceeded to charge me. I get companies need to make money to survive, but robbing their customers is never the answer. When I called them on it, the “customer service” representative proceeded to gaslight me and blame me for the fact that I was charged despite having the phone records proving I have called them multiple times to fix the issue. Unless you have a bunch of extra money burning a hole in your pocket, I do not recommend buying from Best Buy.
Wanted to give a big thank you to the legendary Carter! He helped me pick out the perfect laptop based on my budget and what I was looking for. I had a ton of questions, and he took the time to answer every single one. As someone who’s not very tech-savvy, I really appreciated how he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Thanks again, my friend! You certainly went above and beyond.
I got the Acer Swift 14 - so far, no complaints. Very suitable for the work I'm doing in grad school.
This review is about BestBuy’s excellent customer service. First, when a seemingly straightforward purchase was delayed, store leader Brandon & sales associate Tahemeena (at BestBuy on King St. N. in Waterloo) worked to solve the problem & smooth the sale. We had a very positive experience at BestBuy due to their kind & thoughtful assistance. Another time, when it became necessary to return an item that did not fit in the space allocated, online customer service representative Sabrina helped enormously over the course of several weeks to ensure its smooth return. Her thoughtfulness & dedication gave us a very positive perspective on shopping at BestBuy online.
I am very disappointed with the service and broken promises from this Best Buy location.
I ordered an Apple Watch on the Thursday before Mother’s Day. The employee explicitly reassured that the item would arrive before Sunday. However, I found out that the expected delivery date shifted to Monday.
We took it upon ourselves to try and retrieve the gift by contacting FedEx to pick it up directly from their facility, but because it was Sunday, we were unable to access it. When we went back into the store on Mother's Day to resolve the issue, the store manager was not helpful. Although their staff gave us false information to secure the sale, the manager offered zero solutions or empathy.
Because of this store’s misinformation and lack of accountability, we spent Mother’s Day without a gift. If you need a product by a specific deadline, do not trust the verbal guarantees from this team. They will not stand by them when things go wrong.
