I am still waiting 930pm went and had a serious word with the manager 5 min later my phone was brought back and I was told it doesn't even start. No replacement No temp phone Apple is not allowed Now I'm driving home my wife is worried My little one is worried because they haven't heard from me in 5 hours. UNACCEPTABLE And the manager dissapeared never came back out Gave me a phone that now was worse than I got it UNEXCPETED FROM APPLE... NOT A GOOD SIGN FOR THIS COMPANY

I had a very frustrating experience at this Apple Store yesterday. The first employee who helped me was great. He understood that my phone was frozen and explained what I needed to do and when I needed to return. When I came back for my appointment, another employee helped me check in and was also helpful. Unfortunately, my experience changed when I dealt with Aida. After my technician explained that I needed to provide proof of ownership before they could repair my phone, I left and returned about 30 minutes later with the required documentation. I approached my technician, and he asked Aida to help take a photo of my proof of ownership and submit it to their system. Instead of simply explaining the process, Aida responded in a dismissive and rude manner. My technician tried to explain that his supervisor had instructed him to take a photo of the document, but she continued insisting that a link would be sent to my email. I explained that I didn’t have a working phone and asked how I would know about the email. Instead of helping me or explaining what I could do, she walked away and rolled her eyes at me. I understand that employees can be busy or tired, but that is not an excuse for treating customers disrespectfully. I have worked in customer service myself, and I know how important it is to remain patient and professional, especially when dealing with frustrated customers. I appreciate the employees who tried to help me, especially my technician. Unfortunately, Aida’s attitude made an already stressful situation much worse. I hope management addresses this because customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

I had a scheduled Genius Bar appointment to troubleshoot an iOS update issue and arrived on time. Instead of being seen by an actual Genius, I was intercepted by staff roaming the floor who aren't technical support. They tried to diagnose and dismiss my issue themselves, with a condescending, know-it-all attitude, before I ever got in front of someone actually qualified to help. What made it worse wasn't just the lack of expertise, it was the attitude that came with it. I was talked down to by someone who clearly didn't understand the issue but acted like they knew better than the reason I booked the appointment in the first place. I wasn't treated with basic respect or professionalism, just dismissed with confidence that wasn't backed by any real knowledge. I made an appointment specifically to get technical support, not to be screened, condescended to, and brushed off by unqualified staff. If this is Apple's new standard process, it defeats the purpose of booking a Genius Bar slot altogether. Wasted trip, no resolution, and a wall of attitude between me and actual help. Would not recommend. Insist on speaking directly to a Genius if you go.

While it is purported to be easy, it's too complicated to find a technician at this store. I booked time at 20:18 and I asked them to plz be on time as I had dinner plans! I was told to be attended in 20 minutes. Nobody cared to come to me until 20:41 when I objected it. I literally saw they attended a girl before me out of the line!!! Everytime I come to this store there's a story. I'm fed up with them. Just check their Google reviews, one of the lowest Apple stores in Toronto area. That speaks volume about their work ethics. Funny thing is the moment I confronted them at 20:41, I got my text. But nobody could just do their job before making me pissed. Too late.

I recently visited the Apple Store at Fairview Mall to purchase an iPhone 17, pick up an iPhone 16e, and trade in my iPhone 13. I was with my mother and my 80-year-old grandmother, who relies on a cane because of a leg condition and has difficulty standing for long periods. While we were waiting, we politely approached a staff member and asked if my grandmother could temporarily use a chair. Despite speaking to her directly, she did not acknowledge us or respond to our request. Instead, she quietly mumbled something to the employees beside her that we could not hear, leaving us without any explanation or assistance. What made the situation even more upsetting was that there was an empty chair right beside the staff. Rather than offering it to an elderly customer with a visible mobility issue or simply explaining why it could not be used, no one helped us. Shortly afterward, the chair was taken back into the staff-only area while the employees were laughing. I cannot say whether the laughter was directed at us, but given the timing, it made the interaction feel dismissive and disrespectful. I completely understand that stores may have policies regarding chairs or staff equipment. If the answer had simply been, "I'm sorry, we're unable to provide that chair because of store policy," we would have respected that without any issue. What disappointed us was not necessarily the outcome, but the lack of acknowledgment, communication, and empathy toward an elderly customer who clearly needed assistance. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken constructively. The employee who assisted us with our purchase provided outstanding service and deserves recognition. However, I also hope the store reminds all staff that treating every customer with courtesy, especially elderly customers and those with visible mobility challenges, is an essential part of the customer experience.
