I just bought an iPad mini a17pro . Went over to the store to get help on how to use it. First the iPad mini a17 pro is not made for seniors. Everything is so small no universal setting to make things readable or usable. And then some. But the worst part is asking for help. The lady "helping me' didn't even look at me she was googling the answer I was asking about. She was looking out into the crowd like I was not there and saying there's nothing she can do. Well I can return this iPad share my story and tell people that apple is all hype it's just another phone and selling hype to make money . Apple store is a store that sells stuff with staff that don't really want to help unless you want to buy.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Just under two months ago I spent a considerable amount of money on an iPhone 17 Pro Max, along with a Belkin screen protector and a protective case from this Apple Store. About a week ago I pulled the phone out of my pocket and discovered that the screen protector had cracked. No impact, no drop. I figured, "No problem. The protector costs less than 2% of the phone. They'll simply replace it." Boy, was I wrong. I was immediately told, "Not our product. Contact Belkin." That answer honestly froze me. A company with Apple's reputation sells the product, proudly recommends it, but when the customer needs help, suddenly it's someone else's problem. So I contacted Belkin, only to receive this message: "No replacement available. Unfortunately, a replacement isn't available at this time. We've created a support case, and a member of our Customer Service team will contact you with next steps." That was days ago. Nobody has contacted me. The screen protector isn't really the issue. It did its job. The issue is the complete lack of ownership of the customer experience. Apple is happy to sell the accessory, but when there's a problem, they don't seem to give a rat's ass about helping the customer navigate the warranty process. Belkin promises a follow-up that never comes. This isn't the premium customer service I expected from either company. Have a pleasant day. — Marty

an older lady with glasses checked me in said they couldnt replace my entire airpods even though i had applecare and was willing to pay. started getting defensive and adamant i was wrong and i figured id just talk to the next person in the help pipeline for context my right airpod broke from physical damage and i wanted to switch out the left airpod and case too since it mightve affected internals for long term use even though there were no visual issues. once i got to talking to the specialist that actually did the replacement, i brought up my issue again and she explained that its the same price under applecare to replace one airpod or the entire thing and set me right. now imagine someone thats not willing to press the issue takes the first employee at face value and doesnt say anything to the second employee - theyd get screwed over because some employee doesnt know what theyre talking about and is loudly wrong about it pretty much every time ive gone in the store for some repair or buying some small accessory and some worker above 30 helped me ive had a horrible experience. its like theyre protecting the billion dollar company's bottom dollar with their lives. if you care about not getting ripped off on a purchase make sure to avoid the older people that work here. theyll argue all day with you before making sure you're getting your moneys worth

This store doesn’t care about customers time. I was there on Friday at noon to replace my phone’s battery. They told me I would get a text message in 90-120 minutes when they can service me. I never got a text so I came back after 2 hours. Then they told me my appointment was earlier and they canceled it because I was late. They put me back in the queue and someone did all sorts of tests just to tell me what I already knew- that the battery needs replacement. Then they told me the earliest they can take the phone for repair was 6pm. That’s 6 hours after I first came there. I couldn’t do it so they said I could come within 5 days and just drop it off. I came Monday right when they opened the store. Someone took my details and told me to sit at the drop off table. I waited there for 20 minutes, all the time they were serving people who came after me. Only when I raised my voice did someone reach out to me. Then another 10 minutes before someone came to pick up the phone. Then he told me it would be another 2 hours. I spoke to someone from the management team and decided to take my business elsewhere. If it wasn’t for the 3 hours I already wasted I woul d accept it but my time is valuable and I took time off work to go there- and they just don’t seem to value it at this store.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Apple Store in the Eaton Centre. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. As someone who has been a loyal Apple customer for years, I expected professionalism, respect, and genuine support. Instead, I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. I visited the store because my iPhone camera unexpectedly switches lenses while recording, causing interruptions in my videos. Since I create content, the camera was the main reason I purchased this phone. The technician who helped me was professional, patient, and genuinely tried to help. He took time to examine my phone and investigate the issue. However, after checking everything, I was told that nothing was wrong with my device and that this is simply how the camera is designed to work on the newer iPhone models. I was basically told that I would just have to accept it and that this behavior is not fully compatible with Instagram too. That response was incredibly disappointing. If this is considered normal behavior, customers should be clearly informed before purchasing. Had I known that the camera would automatically switch lenses while recording, I never would have bought this phone. In fact, the camera was the primary reason I purchased it. If I had discovered this within the return period, I would have I would have returned it immediately. Unfortunately, what made the experience even worse was the attitude of the two managers. Instead of showing understanding or discussing possible options, they were dismissive, impatient, and rude. I was repeatedly told they had limited time because other customers were waiting, which made me feel like my concerns were not important. When I asked what the next step would be if the issue continued after I left, I wasn’t given a clear answer. Instead of discussing possible solutions or explaining my options, the conversation was shut down. Rather than leaving with confidence that Apple would stand behind its products, I left feeling that I was simply expected to accept the issue and move on. Another major disappointment was that I was never informed at the time of purchase that this iPhone model does not support a physical SIM card. I only discovered this later because I had never tried to insert one. This was very important to me because I travel internationally, and had I known this before purchasing the phone, I would have reconsidered my decision. When I raised this concern, I was told that they inform every customer about it and that I should have researched the product before buying. I found that response completely unacceptable. I am a customer, not an Apple employee. I know what I need from a phone, but I cannot be expected to know every technical specification or design change introduced in newer models. That is one of the reasons people choose to buy directly from an Apple Store, to receive accurate information and professional guidance before making an important purchase. Instead of acknowledging my experience and trying to help, I felt that the responsibility was placed entirely on me. I expected much more from Apple. I wasn’t asking for special treatment. I was asking for respect, honest communication, clear information, and professional customer service. Instead, I left feeling like customer satisfaction was not a priority. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Apple, and unless significant improvements are made in both customer service and communication, I will seriously reconsider purchasing Apple products in the future.
