Stopped in with my family while picking up my niece in sarnia. Unfortunately, our experience at this East Side Mario’s was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the environment felt unwelcoming. The hostess dropped our menus off at the table and walked away before we had even fully made it to the table, which came across as pretty dismissive and unfriendly.
Our waitress also seemed to be in a bad mood throughout the experience, which made the overall atmosphere uncomfortable. We understand that everyone has bad days, but as customers, we shouldn’t feel like we’re inconveniencing the staff by being there.
The food may have been fine, but the service and overall atmosphere really took away from the experience

Had an amazing time with my kids here. JJ was our server and she was so patient, answering all the kids questions even though I’m sure she had many tasks to do. Food was great, definitely would come back here again!
Always very good! We always leave satisfied and taking left overs home. Friendly staff and good food.

The first time in 40 years that I've never left a tip. Had the roasted garlic chicken parmigiana special. The chicken reminded me of the chicken parmigiana from the cafeteria at Northern when I was in high school. Tasteless and clearly straight from a freezer. The 'roasted garlic' adorning the chicken was not cooked and actually cold inside. No servers came during the meal to check up on us. At the end a server came by and asked if I wanted to take it home, noticing a full plate of food. I said there's no way I'm eating that. She said ok and took away the plate. No concern for the obvious disappointment. Especially when the bill came. $27 for an entree with neither joy nor flavour. Go to John's. It's housemade, flavourful and $10 cheaper.
Good bread though...
5 tables and the longest I think we have ever waited at a restaurant from the time of ordering to when we saw bread or food. Just brutal, embarrassing level of service.
