  I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Michael and the service he provides. He has given me the best customer service I have ever experienced in the entire food industry, and that is not an exaggeration. From the moment you interact with him, he makes you feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. He is incredibly funny, attentive, thoughtful, and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible experience. What truly sets Michael apart is that his kindness and personality make the experience about so much more than just the food. He pays attention to the little things, makes you laugh, and makes you feel like you genuinely matter as a customer. It is rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in what they do and makes such a lasting impression through their service alone. Michael is the kind of person who can turn an ordinary visit into an unforgettable experience, and people like him are what make you want to come back again and again. He deserves so much recognition for the incredible job he does. If every establishment had someone like Michael, the entire food industry would be a better place. Thank you, Michael, for setting the bar so incredibly high and reminding people what exceptional customer service is supposed to look like. You are truly one of a kind!

  Michael was an absolutely AMAZING server! He was so friendly, attentive, and hilarious. He had us laughing the entire time and made our experience so much more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and his personality and sense of humour truly made him stand out. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and loves what he does. Honestly, Michael deserves a RAISE because employees like him make all the difference! We need more servers like him. Thank you, Michael, for making our visit unforgettable!

  SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I ordered take out and ordered two family meals; the 6-8 and 4-6 people from the Peterborough location. I waited over 30 minutes, which is fine, but I specifically asked if the bread was put in the bag (as historically, it's notoriously left out) and was told "yes". I drive home the 45 minutes and the 4-6 people meal consisted of this one container of pasta and this one container of salad. We have given this restaurant 3, 4, 5...chances and this will be the last. I have phoned before in the past and nothing was done about it. I figured why bother this time as well. We travel a lot, so next time we will order from Whitby and drive home an hour and a half and reheat it.

  Went to this restaurant with my wife and daughter. We have been here many times and will continue to come back because of the excellent service and great food. The hostess greeted us upon entering and was very friendly. She accommodated us by making sure my wife had a table that was wheelchair accessible and farther from the crowds to make her more comfortable. The manager of the restaurant came over to me and my family and thanked us for coming in. He asked if we had been taken care off and waited with us until we had been seated. The waitress that took care of our table was very friendly and helpful as we made our choices and placed our orders. The bread that was brought out was fresh, warm and tasty. The main course took no time at all to arrive and was piping hot and filled with flavor. The portions were perfect and everything was cooked to perfection. As we made our way through the meal our waitress was attentive with checking on us and making sure we had what we needed. We complimented the waitress on the wonderful service and told her how impressed we were with our experience. My family and I will be back again soon and look forward to enjoying another meal.

  I can’t believe it has come to this. I loved East side Mario’s. It has always been one of my goto places to eat. However, something has obviously happened with staff and management. This is the second time I placed a “To go” order this year and the food was horrible. Hence why I am writing this review. I know people have their days, but when you’re paying almost 100.00 or more and you receive overcooked noodles and BLAND everything. Aside from soup. Though the soups I’m sure are Sysco or GFS food service brand. Really? You can’t add salt and pepper as even a basic seasoning? Where’s the kitchen supervisor or backend manager making sure that 20-30 dollar dish is perfect. Either eastsides on Lansdowne fired the good cooks (or they left) and hired complete idiots to run the circus that is their current level of quality. I don’t know. The servers are friendly. Warm atmosphere. Honestly, in today’s economy where you would like a treat here and there…avoid this location like the plague as it’s not worth rolling the dice to see if you’d actually get some decent food. Shits expensive. Don’t settle.
